I can not get into my hotmail account, the password on my account has been changed and Ive tried all options to reset password as well as the questionaire and its saying its not succesful. I should be able to use my security information but last time i
looked i had to wait 30 days for my new secirty update to be updated? can i get it updated sooner
Just had my account open with a security information change. I wanted to change the alternative email address but it won't let me. So it's given me a code over the phone - fine if I'm at home but obviously useless elsewhere. I can see nowhere now to add an alternative email. Perhaps there is a way to add it - I don't know. But there is no "contact us" to email microsoft. It means setting up another account with a provider I know I can contact if need be. It also talked about two stage validation but said nothing more. Not very good.
So if anyone can help me contact the powers that be, many thanks.
