I'm trying to recover my account after it was blocked because of suspicious activity. This account is over 12 years old and I no longer remember what the security question was, or what the answer is. I rarely send out emails with this account (I use it for my banking information and for receiving delivery confirmations from online shopping sites, etc) so I have no idea how to come up with enough information for the automated system to allow me to recover my own account. I was hoping there might be another way for me to get into my account, maybe if I could provide enough information about emails I've received in the last month or whatnot. I badly want back my msn messenger as well, which I'm currently unable to access because of my account being blocked. I have no idea if there actually was suspicious activity or if it was because I logged into my account at a different location than my home (though I've been there a few times so it's not a new location), but I've had it for years and years and never had an issue till now. I'm so frustrated; that email account contains so much important information. Is there any way I can give my information and see if someone can help me regain access to my account? I had to create another account just to be able to access the message board to ask for assistance in regaining access to my original account. Thanks!
Yes, I'm human, I forgot my password, and then also forgot the answer to my security question, which leaves me up the creek, unless someone can come up with a way to actually contact a 'hotmail human'. Do you think there is anyone out there? Or is this simply a case of one machine talking to another, with no hope for a real person to pass an invisible cyber barrier? Now, despite being an imperfect human, I'm not totally hapless because I managed to fill in the 'form' with recent contacts and email titles, but time after time again, no matter whom I try to contact, the whole thing is just thrown back to me. OH for a real hotmail person to talk to! It isn't going to happen is it? Hotmail is just a massive michrochip, pre-programmed by aliens to send us all insane. So, somewhere out in cyberspace hover messages from real human beings sent in good faith to this frustrated little soul who simply can't access them. It's all my fault, I suppose. Anyway, after my wingeing, can anyone help me?
