I just received an e-mail with my e-mail address as the sender.  It did not come from me and was a prescription drug company or health products company - because it had them as a link.  How do I stop people from using my e-mail address as a sender

The sender is in my contacts, but I don't see how to add to a "safe" list.  Thanks!
I just received this e-mail: Email Update (Final Notice).  It says it's from the Hotmail Team.  When you open the message, the "blocked dialogue" box is there asking if you trust the sender.  But the address is from hotdrumlady@hotmail and moso22@hotmail.  The e-mail says one of my folders is infected with a DGTFX virus and unless I reply to the e-mail with Full name, User name, Password, Date of Birth and Country of Origin, my account will be disabled.  Is this legit?  The end of the message contains a signature, but it looks fake.  What should I do?  It says I have 2 weeks to reply or my account will be removed.
On some received emails the senders email / reply address is missing - which means there's no address to reply to. The sender is in my address book, but on the received email frame a '?' appears next to the senders name. Clicking to open the contact  view the email address doesn't link through to the contact/sender and only the senders name is displayed. The address is only missing on the Outlook 2011 desktop application - the senders email / reply address shows correctly when viewing the email in Outlook Web access. How can I resolve this - Cheers!

E-mails from this e-mail address appear on BT\Yahoo internet mail site but do not download to my computer via Windows live mail although all other mails do so automatically. I can send mails to this address via Windows live mail. The address does not appear to be blocked and is actually designated as a safe sender

What's happened with windows live mail recently? It is blocking attachments from safe senders in my address book and also  it is allowing junk mail through from blocked senders and thier domain.
I swore by windows live mail but now I'm starting to hate it and a change of mail client is in the offing !!!
What details do you want?  Trying to use Galaxy Tablet to use HotMail but two issues are unresolved. Verizon says it is a HotMail problem.  When sending or replying to emails instead of name showing as Sender it says HotMail.  Second is can't get into folders it just shows name of folder but no messages show up.
