Server Error 0x800ccc90 -err no such message

On one of two Windows Live Mail on Windows 7 system, computer is trying to get some 219 new emails, no such message is found and this appears to be a continual loop as in time, it makes over 100,000 inquires to try to get the message, and continues until I stop it.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Austin.rr (ebnewnan) account. See below for error message

I have internet access but suddenly I cannot send or receive emails on Windows Live Mail.  Anyone have an idea as what I can do to get it back up and running?

When trying to access Live Mail I repeatedly am asked for ID and Password when I know they are correct! The screen eventually shows Server error 0x800CCC90, Server Response - ERR[AUTH] (#MBR1212) Incorrect username or password and Windows Livemail Error ID: 0x800CCC92.

I cannot send email but can receive it in Windows Live Mail

My computer is Windows 7 64 bit

 

I keep getting a message that the wrong password has been entered with the Server error 0x800CCC90 and Windows Live Mail Error 0x800CCC92.

I have removed and reset the email address several times, changed the password several times but with the same message after each attempt.

I know that all the details of the set up are correct and I have successfully installed three email addresses in Windows Live Mail.                                         

 I have received emails successfully to each of these addresses but I am unable to send replies. The error message reads as follows;

 

Server Error  0x800CCC90

Server Response - Err Login failed

Server mail.plus.net

Windows Live Mail Error  0x800CCC92

Protocol POP3

Port 110

Secure(SSU) No

 

Can anyone sort this for me?
