We discovered a security flaw in SkyDrive.  User A can forward their SkyDrive Shared folder invite email to user B.  Then user B can open the link, sign up for a SkyDrive account, and view the Shared folder. This should not happen according to the SkyDrive Website, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/skydrive/change-access-permissions-faq:

“If you want recipients to sign in with a Microsoft account before they can view the file or folder, select Require everyone who accesses this to sign in. This also helps prevent other people who could be forwarded the email from being able to access your file or folder.”

How can I lock down the permissions so that only email addresses I invited can access my Share folder?

Someone has shared a folder with me. It is not visible on the mac. It is however visible via skydrive for ipad and iphone. Settings are identical on all three devices, same user name, login details etc. I have tried unlinking and linking account again .. however the problem persists.

hi, we have two macs, one in each office that one user has access to depending which office they are in

Office 1 mac you can see anyone's shared calendar, on mac 2 when I open a shared calendar (file, open shared folder) enter the persons calendar name, it finds it in the directory, I click ok

then nothing happens after that, there is no entry under shared calendars, nothing, no errors, nothing at all

it is the same office 365 account on each mac, same users, same machine, sames permissions etc

what could be wrong with Mac 2 causing this?

I have shared a few of my own skydrive folders with my wife. When she clicks on the links in the original emails telling her of a new shared folder she is able to open my shared folders without issue.  IF she goes to her skydrive page and clicks on "Shared" she get's the following:

Sorry, something went wrong.

Please try again or refresh the page.

Needless to say trying again or refreshing the page does not help.  This happens on multiple machines.  My wife has also shared some of her folders with me in Skydrive and when I go to my "Shared" page, I can access those folders without issue.  We have the workaround of using the links originally sent in the original email lettering her know I shared a file with her, but this is far from ideal.

What can be done to resolve this?

I Shared my SkyDrive with another and left the message blank.  Microsoft attached an Unwanted Poem.

How could this happen?
