Calendar Sharing/View Calendars side by side

I am having trouble finding a way to send an invite to a co-worker who uses a PC to share calendars.  She was able to send me an invite and i was able to accept it. Though our calendars are meshed into one instead of having them viewed side by side like in regular microsoft for windows.  Please help as soon as possible.

SkyDrive does not seem like a very reliable / workable platform.

This is my first attempt at using it.  I am logged on as myself on two computers that are side by side.  On one computer I edit a doc, save it back to sky"drive, and close the doc.  On the other computer, when I try to refresh the list of files, it just give the umbiquious "something has gone wrong".  Over and over again.  No matter what.  Other functions, seem to to work.  I just cannot look at any files that were added even though quite some time has elapsed.  Go figure.  It seems less informative and less user friendly than most MS products.  Go figure.  Maybe it does not think that the same person would ever be active on two devices at the same time.  Surely not.  Tonight dropbox (or even just USB sticks) seem to better the user friendliness and effectiveness of Skydrive for me.  

How do I overlay calendars, instead of viewing them side by side?

I have made two calendars - one for my class schedule, and one for my work schedule. When both are selected, they are only viewable side-by-side. I want them to overlay as one full-window calendar, rather than splitting my window in half and only being able to see 3.5 days in each. Is this possible? If so, how? If not, please update so that this is possible.

I must use Outlook professionally, and have used it and loved it on a PC.  Now, on my new Mac, the calendars are all mashed together into one -- I absolutely need to view up to six calendars at once, side by side, so I can schedule rooms.  I cannot figure out if it's even possible on this Mac, and I'll be very angry if this is something left off in the Mac version... any ideas?

I just installed, uninstalled and re-installed Windows Live Messenger and the only way I can get into it is via hotmail, but then it only gives me a drop-down menu with only my on-line contacts showing, and not the rectangular window with my contact list, both on and off-line and many other capabilities.  So I tried going in via WLMsgr by going to start, and finding it in the list of programs in the main page.  When I did that I received the pop-up msg "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.  Please see the application event log for more detail."

Ok, so....where do I find the app. event log and then what do I do with it?  My OS is Windows Vista Business.  Then, how do I reconfigure side-by-side? And finally, if I can rectify this problem/error will I be able to access WLMsgr, create a short-cut and have it the rectangular window with several tabs and options?

I used MSN Msgr quite some time ago, when it was easier (and I'm not a novice ;) ).

Cannot get past side by side configuration error

Still cannot resolve this error and now msn's site is not working. I'm going to have to give up trying msn messenger.

Error:

 Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\msnmsgr.exe".
Error in manifest or policy file "" on line . A component version required by the application conflicts with another component version already active.


Conflicting components are:

Component 1: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.4148_none_5090ab56bcba71c2.manifest.
Component 2: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.1_none_e163563597edeada.manifest


I navigated to these components and the system won't allow me to delete either of them.

I did a update and windows live messenger crashed saying the side by side configuration was incorrect. I uninstalled all of my c++ librariesd and windows live essentials and then reinstalled everything back. When I check there is still not any live essentials programs installed even though it said that everything was downloaded and installed. How do I get everything back.

Can't open Messenger & I get the message side-by-side configuration error.....this happed after I was forced to upgrade Messenger and also after a new install of of normal antivirus program.....I have Vista it it worked fine with the older Messnger..any help in simple steps greatly appreciated.

Side by side error when launching live messenger

Hi All,

I am facing an issue related to running WLM on my windows vista, each time I run the App it gives me an error message stating that :
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.

What I did that I collected the SxSTrace and from it I observed the below error is occurring each time:
ERROR: Two assemblies have the same assembly name with different version. Assembly 1: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.4148_none_5090ab56bcba71c2.manifest. Assembly 2: Ȗ.
ERROR: Activation Context generation failed.
End Activation Context Generation.

Is there any idea about this conflict and what is its solution?
