Incompatability of Live Mail

Why is it that my password works with other Microsoft Products such as Sky Drive but rejects the exact same Microsoft password when entered in to the Sign In box of Windows Live Mail. I have heard there is an issue with some security products however it was only recently I have this problem. I currently  have AVG and Mailwasher Pro, (neither of which have caused any problems previously).

To try and solve the problem I recently installed Microsoft live Mail ( Windows Essentials) , but to NO avail.  Also tried re-entering password and then resetting it upon rejection by Live Mail

The only possibility I can think of is that this has occurred at the same  time as the recent installation of Sky Drive.  Any clues ?

I want the high resolution as this is a virtual tour for a Real Estate company so the Skydrive option in Movie maker is too low resolution. I have converted the file to an Apple (mov.) file and it looks great but don't understand why I have to do this. Any other ideas?


Sky Drive Sync Issues

My colleague and I are using Sky Drive to share our files and are having issues with syncing.

I have installed Sky Drive on both of our computers and have used the same account to sync them.  There are two things occurring:
  1. Files are sometimes not syncing at all.  My colleague will create a document and it will not appear in my folder or vice versa.
  2. When a file is opened, changed and then re-saved it creates a new file with the old file name and the name of the PC behind it.  For example there may be a file called budget which I will create.  My colleague will then open it, change it and when saving we will have two files one named budget and a new one named Budget TTP-65-34..
We are using this on a school network and our technicians could not seem to figure out what the problem was so I thought I would give this a try as we both love the idea of Sky Drive and it's possibilities.  

If additional information is required I will try to find this out for you.

Can’t Upload Files on Sky Drive

Recently when I try to upload a file on Sky Drive I get the comment
"Please enter a name that doesn't include any special characters or begin or
  end with a "."
The file nanmes do not have any special characters or have a "."
Problem on PC with Windows 7 or an IMAC.

If I install Sky drive on my pc and paste some photos in it would upload here directly , That is how it works . I have a question on storage of photos and files Like I have them in a folder in G drive and Skydrive wants me to put other copy in my sky drive folder so it is getting doubled ? 500 Gb of photos 500 gb in sky drive folder ? WHAT THE He ll , Can some body help me how to stop sky drive eating my storage on pc . It is better to upload it directly from your browser than this software

How should I get skydrive for my company. Like we are going to store all our company datas in skydrive and we planned to buy min of 100GB. 
This storage is shared between 20-25 people. How do we get this. Is there we need to pay extra for users.

Syncing issues with 8.1

I'm new to 8.1 and just setting up my PC. I really like the idea that all PC docs and folders will sync automatically to sky drive but this is failing to happen. I'm a little confused because I thought this happened intuitively with this OS. I have this option turned on in sync settings. When looking into this I can see that there should be an option to right click on the sky notification icon also to change settings but no such icon exists, hidden or otherwise. I've also played about on my sky drive to change settings to off-line mode but without success. Basically, any edit to my docs doesn't update to sky drive automatically. Any help much appreciated.

Sky Drive Downloading Progress – appears to have frozen with no change in progress yet individual files annoted as ‘completed’

I have been synchronising files to/from Sky Drive with two laptops. One is new and had 36,000 files to download. I have tracked the progress which appears to have frozen with 271 files still to download. However each of the files concerned is annoted as 'completed'. On the other laptop I have the same issue with both 4 files to upload and 87 to download - progress has frozen and yet they are annoted as 'completed'. What does this mean? Is something going on in the background that I am not aware of - ie is Sky Drive still synchronising?


Also can you advise the meaning of the icons in the bottom right of the (blue) folders on Sky Drive. Specifically what does the clock icon mean? I assume that the icon with the cloud and PC means fully synchronised and the arrows mean synchronisation in progress???
