Original Title: Problem with email and skdrive

Sky drive will no longer send some of my emails.  When I try to send mails, I get a message that says,  the file type or protocol (same as what I have used for five years)  does not associate with .... whatever, so I go to sky drive and it tells me to upgrade, so I do that, several times in fact.. nothing is changed.  Then I see a tiny little message that reads, Look for your Sky drive in file explorer. Files in here are on your other devices and skydrive.com.  Go to skydrive.com and it says I have no photos there. (been using skydrive for several years).  Then I fiddle around some more and try to find out how I am supposed to change ,,,, associate a file type or protocol with a specific program.... so I go thru all the lists several times..... getting nowhere, I see at top it says:  control panel/ all control panel items/ default programs/  set associations.  and find nothing of help.

How do I get my emails to go where I want them to go I recently got messages in stranges places telling me to "get rid of Olympus software.  I have been using Olympus software as long as I have had this computer..... ???

Problems with  photo emails have been ongoing since I first got a computer. more that ten+ years ago .... can't you get it right???

Currently we have over 9,000 users utilizing O365, with the license Microsoft Office 365 Plan A2 for Students. The Issue we are having is only select users when using Sky Drive Web Access are not able to use the Create Document button, it is greyed out. In problem solving the user was asked to try different computers and the problem still persisted. Also, other users were asked to login on the same machine, and they were able to use the create document button. I am unaware of a per user setting that would disable this feature.

I keep files in Sky Drive for added security as I don't like to keep them on my network PC. How come then, when I open a sky drive document using excel (I cant use a browser as the doc is password protected in excel) and then subsequently save it back to sky drive and then sign out of sky drive - I find I can then open the excel doc just by using excel on my PC with no need to sign into sky drive??? Is this a security breech or am I doing something wrong.

I ask the community to please advise me.

Hi

I have Samsung windows phone 7.5. there is default sky drive.  I have not

registered sky drive. Now  I want to delete some photos from sky drive ( camera roll) which were uploaded automatically. Help me

HI

I WANT TO TRANSFER A FILE OR FOLDER FROM MY OUTLOOK TO SKY DRIVE SO AS TO CONSOLIDATE THE FILES ON ONE PLACE AS WELL TO SAVE THE SPACE.
IT SURELY CAN BE SYNCED/DONE BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW?

AMIT G.
How come I can see the folders I created on my Sky Drive PC folder on my iPad app but not vice-versa?  I don't even seen the generic folders that appear on the web portal on my PC version?  Is tis normal or a sync issue.  I just started playing with it.  I have created my own doc, pic files as a work around to know what is syncing and what is not but even a document created on the web doesn't appear in my Sky Drive PC folder.

Thanks,

KJS

My password works to log me in to Sky Drive, Windows Live and Windows Office 365.  I have several notebooks in Sky Drive.  I if I click on “recent docs” I can see these notebooks but if I try to open them in either NoteBook desktop version or NoteBook Web App I get the following message:

“This item might not exist or is no longer available

This item might have been deleted, expired, or you might not have permission to view it. Contact the owner of this item for more information. “

The items do exist.  They have never been deleted and I am the owner. I both created them and am the only person to access them. Things I can access identify the location simply as “sky drive”. Those I can’t access give [MY NAME’s] Sky Drive” as the location.

Yesterday while trying to access docs and notebooks I got a message asking me to sign in again to verify my identity.  The log in recognizes my windows ID.  But when I input my password, the same one that opened SkyDrive, Windows Live and Office 365, I get a message telling me the password is incorrect. Today when attempting to open a Word doc created yesterday, I get a message saying there are problems with the server and I should try again later.

Sky drive folder has disappeared along with original files and documents from PC. I sometime need to work offline on my documents. How can I set up a new sky drive folder and retrieve copies of files from sky drive and sync the two.

I have had a hotmail/outlook account for a while now and a sky drive account. What date was the date that Microsoft decreased it?  I went to my sky drive on my windows 8 new computer and it said I only have 7G but I have had skydrive for awhile?  I signed up (and was allowed to ) with my gmail account.  I had skydrive

Hi,

I was uploading some documents yesterday onto Sky Drive  and the sync stopped working.
I shut Sky drive down, re-booted my computer and I keep getting the following message:

"there was a problem with signing you in"
"Change your browser setting to work online and try again"

I have since checked my browser settings, (which are fine) logging into my Sky drive account & remaining signed in, and I am still receiving the above message.

Can anybody help?

Thanks.
