I use Skydrive to upload files from my Windows Phone, Surface and Windows 8 Desktop PC. Recently, my files from my desktop will not upload to Skydrive, but the files from my phone and Surface upload fine. When I place a file in the Skydrive folder it will automatically sync, however the new file never appears on the online client or on my other devices.

Furthermore, Skydrive will not show up on my system tray. When it does though, it removes itself once I scroll over it.

Usually I have to download attachments from Outlook.com to my PC and then upload it to Skype drive. So I am wondering if there is any way to sort attachments from Outlook.com to Skydrive directly.

I am having a nightmare experience trying to synch my files to SkyDrive. One recurring problem is that SkyDrive keeps coming up with a synch error due to the fact that some files have filenames that are too long for it. When it encounters one, SkyDrive stops, posts an error message with the offending file's name and location and then if I hit OK, SkyDrive dies. Happens endlessly. So I go and change/delete the offending file and it keeps coming back. I can't seem to find the master source. It seems that SkyDrive is synching all files from all locations and unless I were able to delete the offending file from all locations simultaneously, it keeps coming back. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I've been working on this for days!!!!!!!!!!

Question says it all - how does Skydrive traverse my NAT router?  Does it use uPnP or does the Skydrive app initiate a connection with an MS server?  Just wondering how it works.  My Skydrive says Skydrive 2013 if that matters.

Earlier today I bought Microsoft Office 365 University. I got everything set up on my laptop ,running windows 8, no problem. I tested out SkyDrive and it will upload any file I put into the SkyDrive folder to my cloud but it will just not sync with One Note. Under the share tab, in One Note, it says "Additional information is needed in order to use this service" (referring to SkyDrive). It then prompts me to "repair". However, when I hit the repair link  a message pops up saying "To continue please read and sign the SkyDrive terms of use". When I hit "ok" it takes me straight to my SkyDrive cloud where I can access my other files in it. Pretty much, I some how bypassed signing the terms and conditions. The same problem happens when I try to use the One Note app on my android phone (Droid Mini if that helps at all). If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.
How do I add photos from my dig camera to my Skydrive file? I keep hitting IMPORT but it's not taking.  WHY? The cameras turned on. I clicked on each photo I want I hit IMPORT and nothing.   Please help. Two tech support centers can't help me. Please help me!  
SkyDrive seems to have stopped syncing photos with my Nokia Lumia 900.  The last time it synced was September 8th.  All other functions of SkyDrive sync fine wirelessly, and I created a test appointment on the calendar on my phone and it showed up immediately in my Outlook calendar on my pc and the calendar in SkyDrive.  The Lumia runs Windows Phone 7.8 and I run Windows 7 on my pc.  I have nearly 7GB of storage available on my SkyDrive.  I haven't added any apps or done anything to the phone, and I don't want to do a hard reset on the phone either.

Has anyone else had issues with photos not syncing with a similar phone, and can you offer any help?

I've read a lot of people complaining Skydrive doesn't work on Windows Preview 8.1. However, I was unable to find a solution, or a problem report that describes everything I'm experiencing.

In short, I have the following SkyDrive resources:
- The SkyDrive directory on Windows Explorer
- The SkyDrive App
- Web SkyDrive
- SkyDrive for iPhone - installed for "debugging" purposes, the rest I access from the same Win 8.1 machine (build 9431)

There are some weird sync relationships. Basically, the local folder/app receive updates from the web/iphone but don't contribute:
1. iPhone and web SkyDrive appear to be in perfect sync
2. Any file/directory added through the iPhone/web version gets updated on the SkyDrive Windows Explorer directory and SkyDrive App.
3. Anything I add/change on the SkyDrive Windows Explorer directory gets updated on the SkyDrive App (and vice versa). However, it does not get updated on the web SkyDrive or the iPhone SkyDrive. 

When I right-click on a file in the Windows Explorer directory that I have copied to the directory (or added through the app) and choose "Make available online-only" I receive the following error: "Element not found".
If I right-click on a file that was updated from the web/iphone version ("Make available offline" and "Make available online-only") I receive no errors.

I have run the troubleshooter, it found several corrupt files, I restarted, ran it again, found nothing substantial (display drivers issues due to custom drivers by Dell) - and it still isn't working.
I don't receive any crashes, errors, etc. I don't know where to look for log files.

I did read about someone claiming SkyDrive Pro may have caused sync issues with the "normal" SkyDrive app. Please note that it is installed on my machine as part of Office 2013.

Until recently Skydrive has worked great for me.  But this past weekend I began having issues with uploaded photos - both past and new.

 

When I now open a folder, random thumbnails are blank and random photos cannot be viewed. Sometimes I can view a blank thumbnails photo (and sometimes not). Sometimes a viewable thumbnail won't open.

 

I've attempted to upload specific folders various ways - directly into Skydrive.com, with the Skydrive app, all files directly (without the folder) etc.

I've also attempted to load specific files in various formats (jpg, png, tiff) with same results. With each new upload the files with issues can vary.

 

As mentioned above, this issue affects both new uploads as well as existing.

 

I've uninstalled/reinstalled the Skydrive app and Silverlight.  I've completely emptied and reloaded Skydrive.com - issue is still present.  I see this has been an issue for others - hope a solutions is available.
