SkyDrive is not syncing on my PC. It acts like it is constantly syncing, but does not upload all of my files. Certain folders sync OK, but the others don't. Often times a few files will sync inside of a folder, but the rest of them will not. (They are small files, too; MS Word Docs) I also have trouble when I upload a file to a website from my SkyDrive folder. It appears with files and folders that I have deleted over a year ago.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it didn't seem to help at all.
I have Windows 7 Pro.
Thanks
Hi all,
I need some help with my Skydrive please. I'll try and explain this the best I can.
I have my family photos on Skydrive. They're organised into yearly folders and then months within the folders.
When I log into Skydrive on a PC, or the Skydrive app on my Windows Phone, I can see all of the folders from 2003 through to 2013.
However, when I go to photos > albums on my Windows Phone or Surface RT I can only see some of the files, the rest just aren't there.
I was hoping that someone would be able to help.
Thanks in advance.
Steven
I recently discovered that all my old e-mails have gone.
The suggestion to recover in this thread, and others, have failed so far.
My few files on Skydrive seem to be still there, so I don't understand why my e-mails have not been automatically backed up to my Skydrive space.
So, how do I recover several years worth of e-mails?
Thank you.
I have really messed up SkyDrive by giving two different addresses and receiving two different codes. At this time of life, maintenance of SkyDrive is too difficult for me; I do not understand how it works.
How do I close my SkyDrive account yet have all my documents returned to Word and/or OpenOffice? I just don't care to learn to deal with SkyDrive right now but _need_ the documents saved in private format in SkyDrive.
Please advise in as simple terms as possible.
Thanks for all your help. This is really a great group of folks to turn to for guidance. In my eighth plus decade, SkyDrive if too difficult.
Thank you all for your help and advice.

Win7, 64 bit, Office 2010 and OpenOffice latest version.
We are thinking of implementing Skydrive pro for our remote users , is there a limit to how many folders and subfolders that can be created in an account?
TIA,
Robert
