Hello,

I just upgraded my four machine (two at home, one at work and one mobile) to Windows 8.1.

I love everything about it, except Skydrive. because of the various work that I do, I actually use three different cloud services (Skydrive, Dropbox and Creative Cloud).

Since I upgraded, I noticed the that cloud Icon on the far right side of the task bar disappeared - which I recently figured out was part of the improvement. I also noticed that the blue circle and green checkmark icons (indicating the status of the upload) have disappeared. I wasn't thrilled about this, but I assumed that this was part of the upgrade.

however, I have been having a hard time keeping everything synced among my machines. various files have not been uploaded. It seems to be sporadic. some are office files, some are other types. I've looked through all the settings on both machines and this problem seems to still be there.

any advice?

Hi,

My SkyDrive folders on computer have stopped syncing (I can't see changes made on other devices) and all files are read-only when opened in Office 2013.

I can' create a folder in SkyDrive folder and I'm denied permission to save files to document folder in SkyDrive on my desktop.

I am administrator on my computer.

Metro SkyDrive up also not showing updated (newly created) files but not throwing up and error that can't sync.

Please, can you help?

Thanks

Does anyone know who i could talk to from Microsoft to discuss an idea i have. I think it could potentially increase the market for skydrive and live users.

Hi there,

As I understand it, all images from my phone should be on the Skydrive (I clicked 'save to Skydrive) however I cannot see any of the image on the Skydrive when I log on on my laptop.

Can you please advise how to ensure this happens?

I urgently need images from the phone and would like to avoid uploading to social networks if possible (I don't have access to leads either at this time).

Many thanks for your help in advance.

I'm using HTML Editor and it can find files only on my own computer.  How do I bring the files that were - without me wanting this to happen - uploaded to Skydrive - and have them reside on my local drive here?

I have recently updated to Windows 8.1.  Since then I have been in the process of syncing a large number of files with Skydrive. This all worked well until yesterday. Skydrive now crashes a few minutes after boot with the following message:

SkyDrive Sync Engine Host has stopped working

I would appreciate any assistance in solving this problem as the file upload to Skydrive is fairly urgent.

Hi,

Once the reconstruction has been done, a separate category for Outlook.com and Skydrive will be available on Microsoft Community home page. As for your threads, you can simply click your profile name at the top-right corner of the page. Select Questions under "Filter by: Type" and pick either Outlook.com or SkyDrive for "Category" then click Apply to show all of your post under that category.

Thanks.

outlook.com not working
Installed iOS X Mavericks on my iMac. After installation, noticed that SkyDrive crashes on opening. Removed SkyDrive and downloaded again. Installation was successful, but when the application opened, it "quit unexpectedly". What is happening here?
I created files on SkyDrive and shared them with my team. They can edit the files and upload to the shared files.  That aspect is working great.

What I need to do is allow the team to share the files with others (their clients). How do I set this up in permissions of SkyDrive?

Right now, I have to log in and share the file when requested...it's time consuming for me, and increases the time it takes to get the files to the clients. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!
