my live mail is receiving but not sending. I am receiving an error message ; id 0x800c006c  can someone help me??

What happened to my Drafts folder messages before 2007?

All messages in my Drafts folder (almost all) dating prior to September 2007 are now marked (UNKNOWN) and their contents has become a message I never sent to someone in 2007. Many of these messages were actually sent and I just opted to use the Drafts folder to archive them. What has happened to these messages? If this is a policy thing, why didn't I get any notification of it; I had some extremely important messages in there!!!!!!

Others can’t reply to my email

Whenever someone tries to reply to an email I sent them, the automatic email in the TO box is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or something. This has happened with many of my friends. They all told me the same thing. When they reply to my email, they have to retype my email in the TO box. How can I fix this?

Adding people to an existing contacts group

 I have several existing groups in my contacts list. (my family, my husband's family, a group of friends, etc) 

Before the format change, I could click on the group I wanted and add or delete people to or from this group, for example if someone had died.  Now when I try to "manage" the group, the only options are to delete a group or add a group. 

I don't want to "invite" people because the purpose is not to communicate back and forth, it is only for my use to send a general message to all of the people in the group that I want.

How to get my deleted contacts address back.

Hotmail account empty of all history and folders

I believe my Hotmail account has been compromised – (removed for privacy).

When I logged on recently my account looked like a completely new account. All I have is a welcome message from the Hotmail Team, and I have lost all my contacts as well as my correspondences for the past six years.

 

My questions are as follows:

1. How can I confirm my account has been compromised? And what can/should I do about it?

2. How do I get back all my historic correspondences and contacts?

3. Can I simply close this account and re-open a new account with all my historic correspondences and contacts copied across? How would I do this?

4. I am fearful that someone may be using the original account under my name. This I clearly want to stop immediately, will closing this account achieve this is there something else I need to do? I need to ensure no one is using my account and name without my permission.

5. Finally, how can I stop this happening to my new account?

6. Why and by whom has the account been closed?
