I received an email saying because of security measures my account will be suspened unless I verify my account within 24hrs. There was a "CLICK HERE" to complete the account verification but when I did my system at work said marere.com is NOT SAFE! and would not allow me to do anything more. Could this be some sort of SCAM? What should I do?

I keep getting emails from a "Debbie Gulbranson". They appear in my Junk forlder and I keep putting them into Blocked Senders but the address they come from keeps changing and the junk keeps coming. Can Microsoft not stop these spammers from continuing to spam users as it soaks a lot of time getting rid of this sort of rubbish?

I just would like to let you all know that, If you have recived any sort of email that is asking you for your detailes.

Please DO NOT REPLY.

These types of emails are from Hackers wanting to gain access onto your account. If you encounter any mesages like this then you should:

Deleate the email straight away (If it is saying Microsoft or Xbox ive then please report it to Microsoft or Xbox Live before deleating it, they will tell you if it is genuine)

Do NOT reply or foward the email onto another person. For moest people this could be a joke but many people at my school forward emailes like this onto others, Please DONT as you are putting their account in danger as well.

Im sorry if this seems a waste of time but I dont think this is, I think this is Important.

As I said before: this is not a question that I would like answereing. One of my friends had is Yahoo account hacked because of an email asking him for his detailes, and I do not want this to happen to you or anybody else in the future

I use hotmail via a web browser. Somehow an Outlook "connection" or some sort of link/install started to occur, then I noticed it and cancelled. (This is my theorizing on how this occurred.) But now, on this computer only, (works on other CPUs and phone) I cannot get to my hotmail contacts. It takes me to https://bay002.mail.live.com/mail/contacts.mvc#!/mail//contactserror.aspx and just gives "an error occurred" etc. But that page says "Outlook", though it looks like my old hotmail people page. How do I get my contacts back on hotmail this computer which seems to have incompletely linked the 2. There is no Outlook in my program list on the task manager, there is no Outlook toolbar on my hotmail page. I followed some directions for removing Outlook MUI, though I don't see it anywhere. The MS fix-it looked at my registry etc, made some changes, that didn't fix it either. Also, when I reply to an email, the "to" line is blank on this computer only. Somehow hotmail and outlook have been linked and I can't unlink them.

contacts in alphabetical order

I have entered a group of names on the contact listing .They appear to 'sort' on the first letter of the first name. (cCritian names). I want to change this to alphabetical order of surnames.

How please?

Is there a way to sort mail folders other than alphabetically?

I can't seem to drag and drop folders in a specific order, they only sort alphabetically. Is there a way to arrange them in another order? Seems like this would be a pretty basic feature.

stop autofill when addressing e-mail

I have several old and outdated e-mail addresses that pop up like an autofill when I am addressing an e-mail. These are not in my contact list but they must be in a memory of some sort. I would like to remove some of these but cannot find information on how to do this. For example:

To: <removed by the moderator> - this is the one I want, but I will get others as well

I sometimes e-mail myself a reminder about something from home to my workplace and it is annoying to have other former e-mail addresses automatically pop up in there. I have accidentally e-mailed myself to the e-mail at former jobs. EEEK!

Outlook 2011 not syncing Reply-To and Forward flags for exchange accounts

I have the latest update 14.2.4. Up to Oct. 5 emails on my exchange server account were showing forward and reply flags. Now they don't. I don't even see replies and forwards in the sent folder. I tried turning off the "conversation" sort and still no results. I have two other POP accounts in Outlook that continue to show the icons. Ideas for a fix?

Syncing Error – I don’t want to sync!

My Outlook "syncs" emails without my having set-up anything. I have no rules or sync settings, no schedules, no sync services set-up, no IMAP accounts, no exchange server, no nothing...

It keeps "syncing" and duplication thousands of messages - it's a waste of time and energy sorting them out.
