I agree 100%. Hotmail was fine. I too am loath to change my email address however if the junk continues then I will certainly change to something else. Surely the bvrains at Microsoft could find another way to satisfy their greed!

Original title: how do i get rid of persistent email in my junk mail? I tried blocking nothing works

Please help I get these persistent spam emails that I can't get rid . I;ve blocked the sender and I;ve blocked the senders domain but it doesn't work. when they send me an email they use various emails with a lot of numbers and a lot of letters. When can I do so that they are permanently blocked?

Thank u if you can help

I have tried to change password, gone thru account recovery process, ran the software suggested, with no success. I also have Norton Security package installed on computer itself, and it says no hacking. Can you suggest something?  I do not run Windows live, I log into Hotmail every time.  I do not know if anyone is getting emails from "me" but I am!!

Original title: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***?

Hello all,

I have on two occasions recieved emails from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. It tells me that delivery of several emails has failed and it shows me the contents which are random links. Now I have also had friends telling me that they have received the exact same emails from me. Now would I be right to assume that my Live account has been hacked? I would have taken a guess at maybe a virus or a Trojan but Norton 360 has never found anything of any kind.
If I have been hacked would it be likely that it was just to send spam and not to access my personal emails and to take everything from them? I'm not one who cleans out his inbox or sent items so there is A LOT of personal information and even personal pictures and documents in there which has me very worried.

Cannot delete spam emails from the Junk file in Windows Live Mail. When I try to delete comes up with "An Unknown Error has occurred".
My account has been hacked. The hacker is sending spam emails in my name asking for money to all my contacts some of which are customers.
I got the account back  using the change of password & details route . A few hours later the hacker was able to get it again even with change of password and details.
Have  made several attempts to get it back but keep getting told not enough relevant information.
What else can I do about this?   (just allow the hacker to carry on trying to get money out of people)
Why can you not report directly if your account has been hacked ?

I don’t understand why for they do this… Everyday they send exactly the same junk mail repeated two or three times per day. After sending to “Inbox” the ones that are not junk (and keep putting in junk again and again and again on spite of me taking them off every single day), I do move to spam the rest. After moving then to spam, they show up again and again including the emails that I did already move to “Inbox”. So my spam box has, so far, 1146 spam emails. Do they not clean the box after awhile as everybody does? Obviously they don’t. Sorry but I am not going to spend hours deleting them because, after deleting, Microsoft put them back again and again. What annoys me is that I need to check every single day the junk box because Microsoft put there all my incoming mail, including the emails from Panda Global Protection 2012, my antivirus, the ones from my banks, the ones from my social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, Microsoft Community…). Everything!!! So I think that I am right to qualify Hotmail main page as **** (to be polite… I have other adjectives in y mind more Mediterranean …). Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to everyone. Kind regards. ViriatoVigo (Tino)
Is there a programme I can use that automatically sends an increadibly destructive virus back to spammers when I send their bloody boring and time consuming emails to the Spam Folder?
I keep getting spam emails from PPI, loans etc.I tried blocking them and passing them as phishing but they keep coming back.Does anyone know how to get rid of these for good.
