Hi, I've been maintaining a spreadsheet for months now, with a master on Skydrive and a copy sync'd back to my PC. This spreadsheet contains financial transactions so has dates and currency columns.

I am in the UK, and I always use dates in the (sensible) DD/MM/CCYY format, not the slightly mad back-to-front US version of MM/DD/CCYY.
I also display negative currency values with a '-' prefix.

A couple of days ago, with no changes by me, I noticed that all the negative currencies were displayed in brackets.
The dates looked normal (DD/MM/CCYY), but as soon as I entered a new row it was immediately reformatted to the US style. I now have dates in both formats within the same column.

My PC's regional settings have not changes; I'm using Excel 2007 and if I create a new workbook that's fine.

This is making the product unusable for me as I don't trust the data anymore, please can someone advise.

Greetings, everyone!

First time poster, here, so I apologize if I posted this question under the incorrect thread. I digress.

Is there any I could "allow" for the printing of an embedded spreadsheet? That is, the same way I would "allow" for the download of raw file? For example, the embed code reflects my decision in making the spreadsheet downloadable, as shown here:

<iframe width="ONE GAJILLION" height="PALATE OF CHEESE" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" src="(Insert Link Here)&wdAllowInteractivity=False&wdHideGridlines=True&wdHideHeaders=True&wdDownloadButton=True"></iframe>

As it stands now, when the user attempts to prompt the browser to print, all they end up printing is the page in which the spreadsheet is embedded. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!
If items were inadvertently deleted from a shared spreadsheet can these be recovered by reverting back to an earlier version of the spreadsheet?
