my time & mtn std time is correct in the bottom right corner, BUT when I send and email or receive one the time is not the same as it appears in the corner. How do you fix this?

My time and mtn std time in the date and time in the bottom right hand corner is correct.  But when I send or receive an email the time is way off...how do I fix this and why has this happened.  I tried to also synconizze ....didnt work.

can i change the refresh interval from the std 30 mins, eg, for clicking confirmation links
