I can add a contact in Windows Live Mail, but the only way to see the Contacts is to set up a new Email and click on "To...". I can Edit a Contact there in the list that comes up, but I cannot delete one. I want to backup my Windows Live Mail contacts and Emails, but cannot figure out what directory they are stored in. Where does Windows Live Mail store its Contacts and Emails? It doesn't store them in the Windows 7 CONTACTS directory, and it doesn't seem to be able to access that directory to use contact info stored there - response to "look in contact directories" Lets you Choose ACTIVE DIRECTORY and VERIZON INTERNET DIRECTORY but neither can be accessed.
Successfully did the export to a flash drive. At least I'm assuming that I did because Easy Transfer told me it was successful.
Moved the flash drive to the new system. Double clicked the Easy Transfer file on the flash drive and it launched the import. Again, I got a progress bar and a confirmation that the import succeeded.
When I went to look for the transferred folders in Live Mail, they weren't there The data folders transferred OK but not the mail store On a hunch, I used Live Mail's email import tool. I responded to the Question box looking for the input format with the fact that the input would be in Win Mail Format. It found the Easy Transfer file on the flash drive as it found that it contained email. I assumed that it would put it in Live Mail's mail store. So the fact that it didn't ask me where I wanted to put it didn't seem odd.
The mail import took off and showed me a series of message boxes with progress bars--one for each folder that was on the old system. It finished without error and I went into Live Mail to admire Easy Transfer's handywork. Needless to say, it wasn't anywhere to be found.
Anybody have any ideas as to where Live Mail's import tool might have put the mail? It told me that the import succeeded but no clue as to where the imported mail folders went. Even an idea as to what file extension Live Mail uses for the folders would help as that might let me find them with search.
Thanx in advance.

messaging can't open
people can't open
this are the apps that giving me errors..
1. I install WLM 2011 on my windows 7, then I setup new gmail account with protocol IMAP and WLM start download mail from gmail IMAP server (my mail data approximate 9 GB and I have to spend 2 days to finish download).
2. Because WLM configure default data folder on windows OS drive (C:\......). To prevent data increase in windows OS drive and for safety if OS have problem for example virus...I change WLM data folder to none OS drive (logical partition, for example D:\Mail Data) by on WLM: I go to Option->Mail->Advance->Maintenance->Store Folder->Change Store Folder to D:\Mail Data and WLM automatic copy data from default folder to new folder which is already configured.
3. After long time smooth working with WLM, my OS have problem by virus as I guess, and I have to re-install new windows and aslo new WLM.
4. After re-install new WLM, I'm not expect to set up new account and spend 2 days to download mail from server. I go to Option->Mail->Advance->Maintenance->Store Folder->Change Store Folder to existing folder which I configured previous time (D:\Mail Data) and new WLM can load all my mails immediately, but after exit and restart WLM, WLM always ask me for enter password although I check into Remember Password checkbox every time enter password.
Something wrong with my work? Any expert please help me?
Thanking in advance.
I can't open my Windows Live Mail. When I go to WLM a window pops up firstly saying "Windows Live Mail could not be started. the application was unable tom open the WLM message store. WLM was unable to locate the message data base. It then offered me a choice of OK or click to proceed and look for new messages under Orphaned accounts.
Another window then pops up and says WLM could not be started. The application was unable to open WLM message store. Your computer may be out of memory or your disc full. (Ox8000 ffff.1400)
I don't know what all this means, but I ammhoping I can get info on the fix.
