I have a hotmail account with sympatico.ca which has been upgraded to Outlook.
Sympatico only has dial up service in my area..not even DSL.
A group of us have established a radio wireless service and I no longer need the dial up service.
I have a "outlook.com" and "hotmail.ca" email addresses.
I want to terminate my sympatico service.
How do I terminate the sympatico service and still maintain my data in Outlook?
My sympatico email address is my primary and it will not let me change to my outlook and hotmail aliases nor rename the account.

I plan to leave Bell and will lose my sympatico email.

Will I still have service via an alias that I have set up for outlook/Hotmail?

I will be leaving my ISP Sympatico (Bell Canada) to a different ISP.  But I had originally setup my windows live id using my Sympatico email.  But when I go in my profile to change my primary aliase, I see this listed under the Sympatico aliase:

 

"Your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias."

 

Does that mean I will not be able to change my Windows Live ID to a new email addres and will loose all my Skype contacts, and other Microsoft services information when Bell will shut my Sympatico email?

 

If I need to create a new Microsoft Account, how can I transfer all my Skype contacts and other services info?

About 5 pm today i can no longer send emails on my sympatico email.
This happened on the following devices:
a)  My blackberry Z10
b) my Ipad2

My blackberry is using my bell mobility network, and my ipad is using my wifi.  Two different internets entirely.
I cannot send an email.  On my ipad I get the message:  "Cannot Send Email - An Error occurred while delivering this message".  On my blackberry I don't get a written message, I just get the message coming up in my hub with a red circle with a white line through it meaning "unsendable".
In both cases I have deleted the account and re-installed it, and turned off the device and rebooted it.
On my ipad I have no other email service.
On my blackberry I have email through my work as well, and that one is working fine (it is not a hotmail account).
Interestingly, I can access my hotmail email no problem through the internet on my home computer (which is the same wifi that my ipad is trying to run on) and on my actual devices (my ipad and my blackberry)!!!

It is VERY frustrating - the whole purpose of a mobile device is to be able to respond to emails in a mobile fashion - I shouldn't have to get my email on my device, then wait to respond until I can find a physical computer to access the internet!!!

This happened to my blackberry about a week ago (didn't have my ipad with me at the time) but I restarted my phone and it worked again.  Not helping this time.

Please help ASAP!!!!
