I'm working on Windows 8.  I'm using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 with Outlook.  I'm only trying to get emails/folders/calendar from a Hotmail (live.com) account.  The first time Installed I could only get inbox to sync.  Then uninstalled and re-installed.  I later googled to find this, http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-outlook/subfolder-and-other-sync-problems-with-hotmail/9fa9dc29-1e03-49a5-b23f-51b80624ecb4?msgId=cca8f19e-8a6c-40a1-94b1-61390611661c and tried again.  It began syncing different folders, but still will not sync everything.  I am totally confused.  Can anyone assist?
For some reason my phone has stopped syncing contacts to my hotmail account from my android phone using microsoft exchange activesync.  This used to work fine and I have not changed any settings.  The phone seems to think that a sync has taken place (which works fine for email and calendar items) but new or updated contacts don't appear in my hotmail address book on a PC. 

Can anyone help please?

From what I gather, I can only sync emails.  I would like to do calendar and contacts.  It looks like the only way to do this is to have an Office 365 account with Exchange added.

Is this correct?

I have a hotmail account that now is on outlook.com and im using the imap settings in the mac mail to access it.

The problem is that it cannot complete a sync. (All the email to be synced locally)

At some point you get the impression that the sync is done (after many hours ) but if you view an email in some folder ... The syncing start working again.
I am trying to add a Google calendar subscription into my Outlook.com calandar so it will sync with my Windows 8 calandar app. I mainly use Google calendar but having it sync and receive notification on my laptop is convenient.

Everything works when I initially subscribe which was at 05 October 2013 06:24PM - It's now 10:38PM and it still hasn't synced. I created two new events to test if it syncs automatically but they don't show up. All the events I created before 6:24 show up.

Have I done something wrong or does it just take a certain time for events do be synced? Like it will check for new events at 8AM everyday or something?

P.S. I subscribed by adding the private calendar URL

I am running skydrive on my Macbook Pro it has synced 10gb of data (eventually) but won't sync the last 31.7MB (2 files). Also there seems to be no way to see what files have been synced and what is outstanding.

Please advise how i can sync the last few files, the machine is looping trying to download them and chewing up my limited data allowance!

My SkyDrive will not sync with my PC, through the desktop app. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, I have collected the SkyDrive logs and nothing works. It will not sync. What do I do
How does Skydrive actually work in terms of syncing. Does it always sync upwards from computer to Skydrive. I have two computers. If I sync the desktop first should it sync from Skydrive to the laptop when I connect or will it sync upwards from the laptop thus restoring Skydrive to a previous time. Looked everywhere for an answer but no luck.
