I have recently had a client export some email from his Outlook into an OLM file.
He seems to have checked the option to remove it from his outlook by mistake  , so no problems we go to an earlier time machine backup.
The first time we restore the email and it looks good until it syncs to the server (The 2 accounts are imap) so it says ok I haven't been synced for 5 days l am going to delete this email as it wants to sync with what is left on the server.
Stage 2 was to then go ok , restore from time machine backup and take outlook to offline mode , while in offline mode , create folders on my computer and save the email history for both accounts , the theory being that now the email is not in the imap folders it will stay once the mail sync happens. Unfortunately this does not seem to happen , even though the folders report they have 11000 items , there only seems to be a couple of hundred.
Has anyone come across this issue ?
I have office 365 which includes Outlook 2013 on my laptop, and Outlook.com on my galaxy S3, I can sync my emails on this mobile app but cant sync my calender. On the app I have sync calender ticked but the app only shows my emails. How do I get my calender up on my phone... Really struggling with this and your help and advice is much appreciated....
I have a live.com email address along with a work exchange email account synced to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 using the stock android email app. All folders seem to sync perfectly with the exception of the Live.com Inbox. The Live.com sent folder syncs and I can send emails from this account through the tablet with no problem. The work exchange email account syncs the inbox fine, calendar and tasks for both accounts also sync with no issues. If I set the Live.com account to sync "all emails" I receive emails from 6/25/2013 to the oldest emails in my inbox. It then appears to receive emails until 8/22/2013 however as soon as they appear, they are removed from the tablet. This email account is also synced to my iPhone which is working fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Andrew
I have a ZTE Blade mobile phone running Android 4.2.2. I am using the outlook.com app to sync my calendar. My problem is that after an initial successful sync of my calendar once I had installed the app, when I then disconnecting my wifi connection, and subsequently I re-connect it I can no longer sync changes to my calendar.

I am using Outlook.com as the means of getting my Outlook 2010 calendar ont my phone. Outlook 2010 and Outlook.Com appear to sync ok.

I have tried re-installing the app but this does not appear to make any difference.

My SkyDrive will not sync all files on my Mac. It says "Downloading 5 files" and has for about a week. No matter if I restart or reinstall or even switch computer they all have the same issue. I even went through the log file and added the 5 files that it couldn't sync but it still thinks it can't sync them.

Hi,

I am using an Android phone and I have two outlook.com email ID . One is "live.in" and the other is "live.com". When I try to sync the contacts from "live.com", none of the contacts get sync with my android phone. But when I try with "live.in" all the contacts sync both ways. I tried reconfiguring the "live.com" email as Exchange/corporate and also tried resetting the phone to defaults but still the problem is same. So, there is something wrong with my "Live.com" ID. I would really appreciate if you could help me in fixing the problem or guide me in the right direction.

I can sync contacts from outlook.com using its android app to my phone but cannot sync any contact them from phone to outlook.com.

It is indeed a serious problem for my remote data management, so that if I create a new ctc on the phone while on the road it would not sync at all.

My Galaxy Note 2 runs its contacts on std android app. Sync my e-mail only by K9 and E-mail client used at my office is Outlook 2010, 32 bits.

I have no more 365 or Exchange either.

Calendar works fine syncing events both ways.

so I would appreciate you to address it asap, as my working routine is mostly away from desk.

Tks in advance !

Luckily I can open up the internet browser and search older emails but my phone used to sync all of my email beyond the 2 week old scope. I have restarted my phone, forced sync, and nothing happens. How do you fix this?

Has Microsoft or, perhaps more appropriately, "will" Microsoft provide support for OWA Exchange sync to Outlook.com? I use only Microsoft services for my back end (Outlook, Alias, SkyDrive, and soon to be Office365), though I still enjoy my Mac desktop. What I find annoying is the reluctance or unwillingness to open up access so that  Mac Mail/Contacts/Calendar, can sync with Outlook.com without some exotic type of method.

Does anyone know if/when/will this be provided, or perhaps an easier method? At this point, I may end up using Gmail as a proxy for their Card/CalDav support, and sync back into Outlook.com, thereby gaining access for Mac's desktop applications.

Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated :)

I have Office 2013 Professional. Outlook stopped syncing. I cannot sign into windows account for syncing through any of the office suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook...) And my Windows SkyDrive will not sync either. Error message states " We are unable to connect right now. Please check your network and try again Later." It is obvious nothing changed on my network since I am posting this right now. I did the typical to attempt fix, shutdown> restart> performed back up...nothing works. Please assist. I use outlook on my phone an I am not sure if it has been impacted.

I am now able to sync and sign in. I noticed that after being able to sign into my Windows account, the desktop application Outlook synced my aol and my exchange account; it did not sync @outlook.com account automatically. Something caused the "Work Offline" widget to toggle to the Enabled configuration. After manual disablement of the Work Offline widget, the @outlook.com account synced. I still cannot sync gmail since 1 week ago. Gmail continues to sync sporadic sets of date ranges when first adding (re-adding) gmail. The current work around is to configure Gmail to download 1 month worth of email to outlook. Any other Outlook predetermined date range will sync sets of emails that stop years or months short of current date. Any Advise on this second issue?
