Synching my outlook calendar with my hotmail.com address on my iPhone 5.

I currently  must do a manual synch for my outlook calendar with my Hotmail.com email address on my iPhone 5 (per the Apple genius bar there is no automatic synch for those without an exchange server).  If I switch to an outlook.com email address will it automatically synch or will I still need to hardwire to my computer and synch manually?

Is Office for Mac compatible with Outlook.com for contact/calendar synch?

Hello again,

I'm migrating to a new iMac desktop, and would like to know how to synch my Office Mac 2011 Outlook with my Samsung android phone. My phone is currently synchronized with the PC Outlook such that appointments and changes automatically appear on my phone.

Can I do the same thing with my new iMac?

Does anyone know where MIcrosoft is at with adding icloud synch support Office 2011 on Mac Osx Mountain Lion 10.8 for calendar and contact synching?

I already know you can connect Outlook to Icloud mail, that Outlook does read from the Mac addressbook, and you can see the Icloud Notes folder. No finger pointing please (it's an Apple issue...no it's a Microsoft issue, etc.) Thank you.

Mac Outlook synch services not available

I use synch services in Outlook 2011 Mac to 'synch' contacts between Mac Address Book and then my iPhone and iPad.

Today, using iTunes I synched my iphone with Address book as I do every couple of weeks to synch changes that I may have made, since Outlook Mac won't synch with iPad / iPhone and the cloud.

However, the changes that were updated in my address book from my iPhone DID NOT update to Outlook as they always had.

I looked under tools/synch services and I see that although the pull down menu is there, there are no options to select anything.

I did have an 'identity' issue a few weeks ago and while readying the forum I think that may be the problem.

I moved all the old identities to another folder and out of the 'microsoft user data' folder hoping that would do it, but it didn't.

I read also to delete some files from my user/preference/com.microsoft.....plist but I could not find them.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get Outlook to start synching again?

Hi,

I'm still planning a move from a desktop PC to an iMac.

I've gathered that the Calendar in Outlook 2011 won't sync with Canedar on the iMac so (I think I'm right here...) so what about Oulook 2010 running in Win7 and Parallels?

 

So,  if I use Parallels, Win 7 and Office 2010 on the iMac I assume I can sync the Outlook Calendar with my Google calendar (using google calendar synch running in Win 7) and the Calendar on iMac with Google Calendar (And either my iPad/iPhone with Google Calendar or with Calendar on iMac - don't know about that bit yet ... so first part of my question is has anyone any advice here as to the best way to achieve this sync between all devices and Outlook 2010 Calendar?)

I can acess Gmail with my iPhone/iPad to keep up with mail when out and about as well.

So the second part of my question my question is, How do I synch the contacts in Outlook 2010 with my iPhone , iPad and iMac Contacts?

Currently on the PC, iTunes syncs with contacts. Will iTunes on an iMac with OSX sync with Outlook contacts on same iMac running Parallels/Win7/Office 2010?

I am unable to synch the outlook calendar and contacts with iCal and contacts on a mac book air. I have followed the synch instrctions and get nothing Any suggestion?

The mac book air is new. Some contacts were synced but then disappeared in my efforts to synch the calendar. Email synchs just fine.
