Hi one of my clients regularly prints her managers calendar and tasks. But every time she does it her tasks also appear in the task list. Why is that happening? How can she stop that from happening? She's ensured that her task list is not ticked when
she's sends it to print. Thanks for your help.
I've just moved from Outlook 2010 on my PC to Outlook.com and am struggling with tasks. Does anyone have any good resources/tips on how to best manage tasks in Outlook.com?
I know Tasks can be viewed and added in a separate view in Calendar but it seems unable to set recurring tasks. I've also been unable to move/import my current tasks from Outlook 2010.
And it seems there are no Categories.
If you use a separate app, which one? I would need an iphone app....
Many thanks for your help!!
I would like all the flags and tasks list to be in the Exchange Server task list and delete the local task list. Is there a way to delete My Tasks.
When I add a new tasks it adds the task to the local tasks list. I would like by default to have the tasks added to the Exchange Server task list. Is there a setting for default task list.
Recently updated to Office2011 from 2008. Installed all the 2011 updates. Everything went fine with OS 10.6.8. I reorganized my tasks with the slightly different tools. Then I updated to 10.8.2 and when I opened Outlook, mail was fine but all tasks
disappeared! The data records appear to be in tact in the Identify folder. I rebuilt the database but still no luck.
Finally, since I had only recently updated to 2011 (and imported my data from 2008), I decided to try importing the tasks again from 2008. I did this, and it appeared to be working, but after the import - no tasks are appearing!
Am i doing something wrong here - maybe the tasks are there - but just not showing up? I'm looking at the TASKS folder (all categories) and it says 0 items. My smart folders are all there, but of course they don't show anything either, since there is nothing in the main screen.
I really hope I don't have to reconstruct all my tasks again.....I also use the history of completed tasks periodically for reference.

Hi,
I have many flagged emails in the Inbox, I have opened the "Tasks" window and deleted most of the tasks by right clicking and "delete". But later I realised they all got deleted in the "Inbox" and from Favourite Folders too. I have checked the Delete folder but there is none. Can you please help recover my mails? I am using Outlook 2011 on MacBookPro.

Outlook 2011 for MAC does not display tasks at all. I create them, and they do get created and they sync with my iphone automatically through Exchange but they do not display in Outlook. They do however, display through my windows PC. Any ideas?
I am running Microsoft Office for Mac Home and business 2011. This morning I noticed that my tasks folder was empty. I decided to quit outlook and restart it in the hope that my tasks would reappear. Instead when I right clicked on the outlook icon on
my desktop and hit quit, the icon disappeared all together. I then went to finder and searched for outlook. When it came up, I clicked on it and it brought up outlook, but it is a brand spanking new outlook without any of my sent items, inbox items, my contacts,
my tasks, my sub-folders or my deleted items. Help!!! I am devastated, particularly by the loss of all my contacts.
This was working perfectly and now they don't display on the desktop.
The are there if I check the exchange server via the web.
I can add but no display.
Help!
Thanks,
-Peter
