What is the difference between a free msn account (which we have had for years) and a pay account?

 We have updated our PC from a Gateway with Windows XP  to a Dell with Windows 7 and have been unable to access our Windows Live e-mail for 2 days. (Hotmail account still works but this is not the account I use for my home business.) When calling tech support as directed by our internet provider, we are told that since we have one of the "old free accounts" there is no tech support available to us! We were directed to this site. Wow! What have we missed?

 

Server Error 3204 is given every time e-mail is checked on Windows Live Mail. The last time it worked was December 26th. Internet provider is Century Link.

I used a Tech Support Company (Merchant: Webtech Craft LLC) to fix my hotmail account as it had been hacked. Is the tech company reliable and is $199 AU fee expensive?

I was not receiving incoming emails via my hotmail address.  I contacted a google address for support.  The technician said that my account had been hacked.  For a fee of $199 AU he said he could fix the problem.  He took over my computer.  I gave him my Mac password.  Also when creating a new password for my hotmail this was undertaken by the technician. ( I have since change the password again.)

 It seemed like a reputable company.  He supplied his name.  An account was forwarded.  The hotmail problem has been solved.  Do I have any fears with the service that was provided?

If my hotmail account has been accessed - are my internet bank details safe?

"Live Mail" Questions

A professional tech. installed my new Office Home & Student 2010 on my new Windows 8 and transferred my "Outlook Express" information iinto "Live MMail."  Therefore, I have the files created in "Live Mail" plus the same files:  Deleted Mail, Sent, etc. transferred over from "Outlet Express."  How can I remove the duplicate files from the "Storage Folder" in "Live Mail"?

 

Also, there doesn't seem to be a "Print" icon in "Live Mail."  I've been printing with "Ctrl. P."

How do get to hotail without sighing in every time? I check the save info button.

URGENT- my account was hacked and I’ve been blocked twice-I am afraid my account will get shut down.

my account was hacked and I've been blocked twice-in a week. Not my fault--but worried Hotmail will shut it down anyway.

I am afraid my account will get shut down and all my saved messages will be deleted. 

I WILL be subscribing soon to Norton monthly tech services to clean out viruses and beef up security----- 

But for now--ALL my important folders ---like 30 with hundreds of saved messages of them are in jeopardy in this specific email address. I am afraid Hotmail will delete my all files because of the hacking of my account.  How can I export all my folders to a new email for safekeeping---IMMEDIATELY?  

Emailing from HP Scanner software

My HP scanner software (HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP) does not offer Outlook as an option for emailing scans.  It only offers Mail and Entourage.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  I have spent hours with HP tech support and they say it is an issue with Outlook.

I have a problem with my alt e.mail address. How can I speak to someone in Microsoft Tech Support? I am in Pune India.Tel [removed]

When I send out an e mail on my normal e address, the person who REPLIES, does so on my alt address which appears when he presses the REPLY option.

 

This defeats the purpose of having a seperate alt address.  How can I correct this situation?
