I tried to log on to my skydrive to find a message stating that my account may have been used to send spam or violated a usage agreement.  A link was provided to get a security code, and was sent to my alternate email.  I entered this and the another page came up that wanted me to enter a phone number to receive another code.  On this page a drop down menu contains a country to select and a box for a phone number.  Only trouble is there is no United States.  So I just left it on the first country and entered my number anyway.  Have not received any text message, and support for skydrive seems almost non existent.  Posting on here is my only recourse.  Also there is no offending material on my skydrive, just some documents.  At this point I would rather just close the account and be done with it, However that seems to be impossible as well.  I've done nothing wrong and microsoft is making it very difficult to even find out what has happened or how to fix it.

How can I verify my new email address without text messaging? I do not see another method available to me, and it is quite urgent.  (This email is part of a domain of mine I just moved, and certain emails MUST be forwarded to their proper places.)

 

How can I verify my new email address with a method OTHER THAN phone texting so that I can set up forwarding on it?

I can receive emails and still view all of my messages, drafts etc, and log in as usual. But I cannot send any emails!!

I have gone to the Add a phone page to verify my account with a mobile phone number. I was sent a text message with a four digit code in,
entered it when prompted, but I am still unable to send emails. Please sort this problem out ASAP as this is a business account- I can not operate my business properly if I cannot send emails.
And there is no reason at all for this block to have been placed on this account.

so I got this email this morning and read something about it on wpcentral.com.
It's about the chat message backup feature. I am referring to the feature to backup my text messages from my phone. How am I supposed to move text messages to an other folder without losing them on my phone?

When I move an email to an other folder, it will disappear on my phone.
Is there a way to duplicate the emails and them move it to an other folder?

I have a private domain mail accounts hosted at outlook.com. I am unable set up auto forwarding. It says my account is not verified, though it does have a mobile number verified on it.

When I opt to receive a text message (SMS) to verify, I don't receive any message. Note that for initial verification, I was able to receive SMS.

It's only when I have to revalidate to set up forwarding, that I don't receive a SMS. Sometimes, it even shows this error:
"Couldn't send a new code". 

When I click the link to send SMS again, I get this error:
"Sorry, we can't do this right now. Please try again later."

Here are the accounts where this problem is seen.

I want to make my own type email page for users to use. I mean the appearance will remain almost the same except that at text message writing page few things to appear like this:
NAME:
DATE & TIME:
RE:

For DATE & TIME, both the entries should come by itself and cannot be altered.

I just received a text message from "732873" that says that an email address I don't recognize has been added to my account, then a second text that says that my phone number is scheduled to be removed from my account. I didn't make any changes, so I'm not sure why information is suddenly getting altered. Has my account been compromised?

After receiving the texts, I logged into my account and changed the password, as well as cancelling the phone number removal and undoing the email addition. Is there anything else I should do? (Other than just close my Outlook account and use Gmail like everyone else.)

However logged onto hotmail and it appears to be  working fine? Concerned how 'hacker' got my mobile number. I am confused as I have a hotmail not MSN account.

 

I have called the Hotmail help line and they advised me not to respond to the message, and to log it on here.

 

Any recommendations you have would be appreciated
