I have been sent a text message from Windows Live and have changed my password and entered the code they sent to me.  The message said to sign in to your website to complete the process. I have the support ticket number that you sent to me. What do I do on your website to be on target?

My wife has a Dell notebook running Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail 2011.  She has had problems with text disappearing from the text window when writing an email.  Any ideas?  The text does not show up in the deleted or draft folders, it is just simply gone...

I was typing an email and went back to a sentence that I had already typed toward the beginning of the email .  I then inserted a comment in the middle of a sentence, and while inserting the comment the text that was already there disappeared. The new text overrode it and deleted the text already typed.

It was in that overtype mode or whatever it's called where words cannot be inserted without removing the text that is there.  I didn't deliberately set it in this mode and don't know how to restore it to the insert text mode.  HELP!

I am using Windows Live Mail and I want to get email notification on my desktop in the form of a pop up text box.  Is there reliable add on software to do this I have searched the web and haven't found any.

Is it possible to receive some emails in HTML others in Plain Text in WinLive 2011

I receive this alert telling me that they suspect the security of my account has been compromised, and are asking for my cell phone number to verify that I am the owner of the account (so they can send me a text, etc.). But I just created this Hotmail account, and I don't want to give Microsoft my phone number. I just want to send this email. Why must I jump through so many hoops just to accomplish this task?

A few other (related) concerns:

-Does anyone know if Hotmail Plus users typically experience these same issues?

-Also, could the fact that I am presently having my Hotmail service POP for messages on my Gmail account have anything to do with this?

Thanks for any help!!

When I first got Live Mail, I could receive e-mail in both text and html...now it only opens in text with an icon for accessing html on another page, and that doesn't always work. What can I do to revert back to my original settings? Thank you.  Daine
