Hello, I'm having the same issues.  Here's what my error message says:

The connection to the server has failed.

Subject 'hello'
Server: 'smtp.comcast.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10013

I get this message when trying to send an email

The connection to the server has failed.

 

Subject 'Emailing:

Server: 'mail37.safesecureweb.com'

Protocol: SMTP

Secure(SSL): Yes

Socket Error: 10061

I spoke to tech support for my email and all my settings are correct.

I need this to work so I can send out the newsletter for my website.

I got word that my email was hacked and people were getting emails from me that I did not send.  I checked my email and this is the message I get and keep getting:

 

Unable to send or receive messages for the Verizon (sprakers) account. The connection to the server has failed.

Server: 'incoming.yahoo.verizon.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10061

 

Originally I went to Verizon.net to address the hacking.  I opted to change my password but now I am locked out of the website.

 

Help!!!!

I often get a message after sending an email, and i'm not sure that it went out or not.

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Details:

This IMAP command could not be sent to the server before the connection was terminated.

Server: imap.gmail.com

Protocol: IMAP

Port 993

Secure (SSL):1

code:800ccc0f

I don't think that it is due to long periods of inactivity, and I don't seem to have any other server or network problems. It pops up quite often.

Hello folks

 

I am getting this error message when trying to send/receive mail:

I haven't changed any settings (at least intentionally) and this account has been working fine for a long time.

Any idea how to fix it?

I use Windows Live for my e-mail and I have several e-mail accounts set up under it.  Most of the accounts I can send email from.  However I get this message when I try to send email from 1 account:

The connection to the server has failed.

Server: 'mail.rwbms.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10061

Does anyone have suggestions on how i can fix this.

I am running an Acer laptop with Windows 8 and Essentials Live Mail 2012.  I periodically get this error message: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems or a long period of inactivity.  Code is: 0x800CCC0F. 

 

And, the error message will not go away by clicking the X on the error message window.  Need to go into Task Manager to "End Task" of Mail, and restart the program.

 

Any suggestions?

I have reset network setting, changed handset, hard reset, status check on outlook.com, everything possible to configure outlook.com on iphone4 ios7 but nothing helps this message comes

My hotmail through outlook stopped on my laptop....it says disconnected.  My Iphone says The connection to your server is failed"  Also when I go directly to hotmail I can't do anything with my emails.  I have had Hotmail ever since I first had the internet and I never had any problems until Outlook bought it.  What is going on?
