Question about Outlook Express

I had some emails with the original hotmail account that I recently needed to open again.  However, when I went to find them I found that they have been lost during the transition to outlook from the previous system.  The email I need to retrieve is over a year old and the "deleted recover" only brings me back 6 months.  Any help would be appreciated.
