Hi, guys, i just got rid of my iphone and got a blackberry z30, upon adding my outlook.com calendar and contacts and email to it, I noticed that even thou all my time zones everywhere and on all devices say -6 saskatchewan my calendar appointments say
that they were created in -10 hawaii time zone. This only happens if I create the time zone in outlook on my pc or on outlook.com. I have my account time zone and my calendar time zone to saskatchewan. I also double checked my phone as well. I exported
all my calendars to google and synced them to my phone to see if its a blackberry issue, but google calendars are all correct times and no warnings about time zones. Im very confused and not sure if I pay for a exchange account if this issue would disappear,
but I do enjoy the free outlook.com just cant have wrong time zones when syncing.
Hi. I live in Europe and am travelling this month throughout the US. I scheduled several appointments into Outlook.com calendar (which is synced with my Lumia) and since I've arrived in America and my phone is now on EST, all of my appointments are showing
up as if the appointment were schedule for CET.
Is there an ability to create a calendar that is time zone agnostic?
I've also tried to go through the Outlook.com Calendar and change the time zones for the events to EST, but then they're shown incorrectly on Outlook.com because that calendar is set to CET. Shouldn't there be away to account for multiple time zones in
a calendar? My calendar is an absolute mess right now!
Thank you
EDIT: Upon further research I've discovered there's no proper fix of the kind that I'd like. I've since edited all of my appointments on Outlook.com with the correct time zone information. It looks weird on Outlook.com, but it appears correct in my phone.
Still, if someone from Microsoft reads this, there really NEEDS to be an option to edit time zone information on the phone, or to create a time zone agnostic calendar or something like that. I won't have a laptop with me for most of my trip, so my phone
will be my primary input so I can't rely on Outlook.com. It's currently not a very "mobile-friendly" solution.
About 6 months ago the answer was given that two different time zones could not be displayed in the Outlook for Mac calendar. Has this feature been added? If not, it's high time that it was.
