I am trying to create an out of the office automatic response. When I click on "tools" under send/receive nothing happens with either right or left click.
Hi I have just purchased a new MacBook with Office Business for Mac. $200, a bunch of money but as i use it for business it might be worth it. . I am trying to transfer my Outlook E mail from my old Vista machine to the Mac. The apple store loaded the Office. On the outlook opening screen I go to To the opening screen. Then tools. No icon saying "Accounts". As far as my email provider knows this is the only way to intiate setting up an e mail account. Any Ideas anyone???

I did not realize but my outbox had 12 emails stuck in it. I have moved them in to Drafts and tried to send only one. But it continues to sit and not go through.

It is recommended to go to tools. I cannot find that anywhere  on Windows Live.

I think I am so done with this email.

My font has been small, but last time I signed in, it's so tiny it's slmost unreadable.  I've tried the tools icon, etc., but can't find a fix.  Does anyone have a solution for me?
TIA
When I click on the "To" (or CC or BCC) to access my Contacts to send out an email, the names in my Contact List come up with their First name first and Last name last. Is it possible to change that to Last name first? Please note: I am not talking about editing the actual Contacts List which can be done by clicking on the Tools icon while in the Contacts. Thank you. Brad
On the Windows Live Mail Toolbar the category words "new," "delete," "respond,""actions," and "tools" are greyed out and can't be used.
I have this toolbar on some windows, but not on my Hotmail window.

Yes, that's right, I want to turn this OFF or edit it so that read receipts go to the correct email address. I know what you're thinking, that you can't even use read receipts in MS Outlook for Mac. But I have been, although by accident. This is what happened in my case:

Years ago when I had MS Entourage I set it up to ask for a read receipt when I sent emails. I did this by doing the following steps:

1. In Entourage I selected "Tools." and then "Accounts."

2. I selected the "Mail" tab and selected the account I wanted to use read receipts with by double-clicking on the account name.

3. I then selected the "Options" tab.

4. And, in the box labeled "Header," I entered "Disposition-Notification-To" and typed my email address into the "Value" box.

5. After clicking "OK", Entourage was set up to request read receipts.

When I purchased Office 2011 for Mac, and imported my Entourage accounts etc into Outlook, it also copied this setting for me. This was fine - it just kept requesting read-receipts and that was good.

HOWEVER, the email account I was using is now no longer active and what I'm finding is that whenever I send an email, that the recipients whose computers are actually trying to send a read receipt, are returning them an error message because the email it's trying to send the read receipt to an email address that can't be resolved.

So, how do I now change this in MS Outlook? I need to either remove the "Disposition-Notification-To" setting, or change it so that it goes to my current email address.

Thanks for any help. It will be very much appreciated!

Currently using Microsoft Messenger 2012 v 16.4.3503.728

How can I check to determine if there is a newer version ?

I wish there was a     Tools    >    Options    >    check for new versions      function.

Even when I go to the web site I think it is not easy to know if I already have the correct / most recent version.

Thanks
