My hotmail account won’t let me send emails or open emails in my folders.

Starting yesterday, Dec.6, my Hotmail account will not let me send emails. After I hit send they just sit there not being sent with the lights that travel across the top of the page running along. I waited for 10 minutes on one of the emmails I wanted to send and it still didn't get sent. Also, I can't open my emails I've stored in my folders although I can look at my emails in the inbox. I also would like to not get junk!

Please let me know if you can fix these problems otherwise I will have to open a new email account.

Trouble with Junk Email

After recently travel in the US and Canada I was logging onto the internet through some hotel and personal home routers, I am back at home now and I am being sent very large amounts of Junk email. I keep blocking and they keep coming. I also changed our password and that did not help. I have looked at the source of a few and found that they have a common email address ending in plantationwork.com then I searched and found it was a DomainTools site that I don't understand. Can someone help me to stop these daily junk mail deliveries?
