Outlook subfolders mysteriously go missing…

I currently categorize many of my e-mails into subfolders inside folders on Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac. Trouble is, in past couple weeks, the subfolders seem to have disappeared. No little arrows to expand folders either.

The emails are still there, because I can locate them using Finder.

But I can't actually access the subfolders themselves.

And here's the strangest thing: I can view the subfolders when I first open Outlook until I actually run send/receive mail, at which point they all disappear! If I close and then re-open Outlook, they appear again.

Does anyone know what might cause this, or how to fix?

hotmail-having trouble in the group category=want to form a group and save the names (20 or so) so I don’t have to type individually each time I write them.

Hotmail account ---- I want to know how to form a group so I can put about 20 people from my contact list into this special group mailing and send memos to them w/out typing all names individually each time I write them. Not easy to do on Hotmail --- new to me. Please give details,

Trouble importing messages from PC Outlook Express to Mac Outlook 2011

I am currently trying to import a hoard of messages for a friend after upgrading from his Outlook Express on his PC laptop to Outlook 2011 on Macbook Air.

We have successfully exported the email folders from his Outlook express into .dbx files. We successfully converted the files using 'DbxConv' for PC, as well as 'Email Converter Pro' for Mac. However, when we tried to import these .mbox files through Outlook (Mac) the files weren't recognised (using either of the converter programs).

We are unsure of how to proceed, but would love to find an answer asap, as the Mac has been bought for business purposes and the thousands of saved emails are vital!

The option of importing individual .eml files is not possible as there are thousands to go through and would be massively time consuming.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Contacts area has changed to People. How can I add people to my contact lists now?

They have changed the contacts area again. Now I'm having trouble adding people to my contact files. It's really hard to use. I haven't been able to figure it out. Does anyone have a suggestion? Why did they change it - it is not user friendly at all now. Help - so I can get back to business.

I am have trouble adding to my contacts and eliminating wrong ones. Also, there is no easy way to go back to the inbox after working with contacts without x-ing out and starting over again. This new contacts procedure is not user friendly. Help!

Trouble with incoming emails on Outlook 2011 for Mac

I have recently move from a windows environment to a Mac environment and moved my email accounts from Outlook on my old laptop to the new Mac Outlook 2011 in the .pst format.

Since then, all emails, for all 3 accounts, have been coming into one Inbox. how can i have the emails directed to their respective accounts? The accounts are; 1 exchange and 2 hotmail (pop)

cant sign into hotmail!

Im having trouble signing into my origianl Hotmail account due to the fact someone has appearently hacked it or something. When i sign in it tells me Sorry someone else is using this account and redirects me to a page to recieve a code but i dont have a Bellsouth account so i clicked Dont have any of these options it redirects me to another page requesting Name of Email trying to get into then asks for Aa different email to send information to so i type those in. Now when i recieve an answer after submiting all the Info i have EVER used for that account they reply with a SORRY THIS ISNT YOUR ACCOUNT. My Secret answer thing as a mutliple answer thing to to me have multiple people i admire historicly so theres one prob but the rest of my Information i submit is as accurate as can be could use some assistance with the prob if at all possible.

I am using my personal hotspot connection from my iphone for outlook and get an error message that says my ip address is blacklisted and to go to www.spamhaus

outlook contacts search isn’t working

I am on Lion 10.7.4. I have a single Pop account in Outlook . I can add contacts to the address book, no trouble. However, the 'contacts search' cannot find them. Any suggestions?

I am having trouble with live mail not sending my msg’s . How can I turn off live mail to use my email accounts I have set up . I do not want the central live mail connected to my email accounts
