So, how exactly can I remove the integration that hotmail have with twitter. Every single email I send they get a link to a supposed twitter account of mine (the Id have changed, the email of said twitter account have changed, and the picture removed), yet, it keeps sending this with an old profile picture. I have even tried removing the Twitter account and not even that have worked.

I have already disabled the access of third party info, there are no app connected to my hotmail account, and I have already disable people from finding my twitter through my email, but it seems like microsoft are really in love with my old twitter account...

My wife rarely uses her live.com account. She's not an e-mail person. But it is linked to her Facebook, Twitter, etc. She got a notice that she has to reset a password on one of those accounts and the notice said an e-mail was sent to her live.com account. But the account is gone. Archived or something because it hasn't been used. She tried creating a new account with the same address but it won't let her.

She doesn't need to recover e-mails, or inbox or anything else. Just reactivate the account.

How does she do that?

So I need to deactivate my twitter account but I can't do so unless I have access to my old hotmail account which I lost the password to a long time ago. When trying to recover my hotmail account password, it kept telling me that windows did not recognize my windows live id or that the id does not exist.

After talking to a windowslive chat agent, he instructed me to set up an identical email address (hotmail account) as my old one so that I could access the emails being sent from twitter. So I did this but I am still not receiving emails from twitter. So my question is how do I access my old hotmail account? Or is there any way that I can connect the new hotmail account I made to the old one so that I can receive the emails from twitter ?

TL;DR - please read!

Apparently I began my twitter account with a hotmail email address. Two years later I forgot my password. I go to type in my account name to send a 'forgot password' email to myself, and nothing happens. So I type in my email. It says my email is not linked to an account. Ok fine, I email them and they say there is a hotmail email address verified to my account but their reply - it is not that one. I ask, great what email address is it? Because I had one when I was twelve and I could have entered it by mistake. The respond - we cannot tell you what email address it is, (they won't let me guess either). I follow their link to contact hotmail about this 'phantom email address'. This link doesn't work. So now, I have a twitter account that I cannot access because I changed the password and it got sent into the internetz - gone forever. Twitter no longer wants to receive my emails, so I am turning to the public for help.

HELP?!!?!

(The reason this is urgent is that I am applying for jobs and people google your name and this account comes up first and I may have said some dumb stuff when I was younger.

I used a hotmail email address to sign up for twitter a while ago, i have since forgotten the password to the account. So i tried to get them to sent me a reset link which got sent to my old hotmail address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***), however, when i go to log into this account i am told it does not exist. How can i get it back, twitter support said they cant do anything for me unless i can regain access to this account. Help please?

Hello there,

I have my friend's Facebook contacts synced with with mine even though I have not connected my outlook.com account with my Facebook let alone his (upper right hand corner only shows Twitter and Skype). Can someone help me find whats linking my email to his Facebook and delete it?

I've been trying to disable my twitter account from my Outlook account for weeks now and yet it is still connected. It's embarrassing because I am constantly emailing professional people and a Justin Bieber picture pops up because of an old twitter account. I've tried the instructions 100000 times and deactivated the account but yet it still shows. If I can get help with this it would be much appreciated ..

My twitter account was hacked a few weeks back and I've since had to change the password. I went to reset the password the other day again and I'm not receiving the email from Twitter. They are suggesting that my account provider is blocking it and I've checked my blocked list and its not me thats blocking it. Has anyone else ever had this?? How can I sort it?
