My Inbox folder shows I have 14 unread emails but I have checked and read all of them.   Even when I have sorted it to unread emails, the 14 mails does not show.  How can I check and remove it?

Even though I opened EVERY SINGLE mail I received, the inbox is indicating there are XX amount of unread mails. Clearly that is NOT the case as there's not a single one that still shows in bold, or unread. Why is it then that the inbox tab shows several mails not read win in fact there are none, not even way back in my inbox? Thanks.
Hi, I do not seem to find my unread mails in my Inbox. Its indicates that i have unread mails but when i click on it, there are no unread mails. Pls kindly advise. I have also cleared my cache and restarted my computer. This has been on-going for about 3 months.
I'm using a MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.8, and Outlook 14.2.2

The unread message counter on my deleted items folder shows 5 more unread messages than are present. Consequently if my unread messages folder has 10 unread mails in it, the counter shows 15.

Even more irritatingly, when I empty the deleted items folder, the counter still shows 5

Is there any way to reset this counter?
Is there a configuration file which stores this number, which can be edited and therefore reset?

This is pretty minor in the grand scheme of things, but any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The import of the dbx files seemed to be successful.  The Quick View Unread mail numbers now include Unread mails from the import.  However, the Storage Folders appear to be empty.  Why can't I see my emails?
