You first have to find out why the message wasn't sent. The error message should give the reason; please click on it to select it, then use right-click to copy it and paste it into your reply here.

You don't have to delete an unsent message in the outbox. You can always drag it to a drafts folder if you want to make some changes before trying to send it again.

I have tried to drag my outbox messages into my draft folder.  Won't work.  Tell me what to do next.

Actually I really want to delete the messages so they quit going.  They just keep going to e-mail address over and over every hour.

Because your question is different from the one that started the thread you posted in, I've moved yours to its own thread

I am operating Outlook 2011 for Mac OS 10.8.  I am encountering a persistent error message 5.1.2 saying that I there is a message with an recipient address error.  Outlook continues to send my other messages.  If I have no new message to send, it shows "Sending .... 0/1"  How do I clear out the defective unsent message ?

after attempting to send an email it failed and did not appear in the sent or draft folders. a dialog box began to appear asking if I want to send the unsent message. How do I clear the failed message that I can no longer find?

I have pressed "yes" and "no" a number of times.  I have checked my outbox and there is no message pending.   I have a gmail address and noticed this message after I attempted to send an e-mail with a photo.-SkyDrive came up and I pressed "cancel".  I have read other posts regarding this and followed the suggestions-have lost the 8CCC0003 error message but continue to have the "unsent message" window each time I exit out of my e-mail. I even signed up with WLM and now have an account there thinking this would help get rid of the message--not avail!   I have Windows 7 and 64 bit.  PLEASE help me get rid of this message!
