I checked the add & remove tools website for todays down loaded updates & they are not there even though the download was successfull.
The Update Icon is still on my computer saying downloades are ready, I can't get rid of it.
I have no idea what they are talking about as automatic updates is turned on; don't they have a way of already knowing that?

I have windows 7.my single player games disappeared after an update before Xmas 2011. After I puchased my new hp notebook pc recently, there was another update. Now some of the games are back but they look all wrong and don't respond at all. I have tried
reinstalling and repairing and had no luck. Also my winks were not for reinstalled.I have Yahoo messenger but much prefer msn. What can I do? Thanks!
I don't want Windows live 2011 mail. I prefer the uncluttered format of my inbox and mail provided by Hotmail. The update for the new messenger gives you the so-called option of downloading the features that you need but on the page to do so it shows Bing,
Mail and other features that you have to accept before you can update. This is like marrying a woman but agreeing to let her mother and sisters move in with you. I only want to update messenger so the reminder will stop popping up.
