Windows Live Mail not working after Win 8 upgrade from Win 7

My Windows Live Mail has stopped working after a Win 8 upgrade from Win 7, my email provider Telus say I have an issue with the software when the upgrade took place. Telus cannot remove or create an account, look forward to your help and reply

How do I get Outlook 2011 to stop trying to access certain IMAP accounts?

Hi - I have a number of IMAP accounts added to my Outlook identity.  Some of them are from past jobs, past groups, etc., so I can no longer authenticate to them.  I want to still have the mail in Outlook, though, as it is useful from time to time to refer back to it.

BUT - I just updated to v14.2.3 and all of a sudden Outlook tries to hit every single account I own every minute or so, which results in dialog boxes popping up asking me to authenticate to these accounts.

Please, someone - how do I turn this off?  This is infuriating.  OR if it can't be turned off - how can I roll the upgrade back?

My account has changed to outlook with a blue interface rather than orange, when i enter my account i cannot see my emails listed, I can see my folders on the left but the middle where all recent emails should be displayed is all blank but if i scroll down i can then see them but then cannot click to open my emails also the feature to switch back to hotmail is not available, please help? I did not upgrade my account and if it was going to happen automatically then it should work without any issues? Please help.

Adding Outlook to Office 2011

I just paid for an upgrade of Office 2011 so I could have Outlook.  Outlook now appears in the dock on my Mac but when I click on this it say I must purchase an upgrade.  What's going on? 

Random letters and numbers in Messenger

Messenger has random letters and numbers, ie. f62ba6f0-3e5e-11e2-9fe9-abe09ff783aa , in the send field and there is no message field showing. Tried reinstalling but random letters and numbers still appear. Problem first started (yesterday) after installing upgrade. Can someone help?

Upgrade home and student with Outlook

I want Outlook on my mac. i have home and student installet, how to upgrade ???

Has my Hotmail account been compromised by being rerouted or otherwise intercepted outside the United States, which would produce an error message saying the upgrade is not available in my market?

When attempting to upgrade to Hotmail Plus, this message window appears:

 

“No ads, more storage

You get more with Hotmail Plus, but it looks like it’s not available in your market.... but if you‘re able to pay with U.S. dollars, you can still get it—for only $19.95 a year.”

 

I was born in Tennessee and lived my entire life in the United States with a current address since opening the Hotmail account in Searcy County, Arkansas.  The Hotmail Plus Billing agent who instructed me by phone to  appeal to the Community, said that I was correct to be concerned since that message is displayed to accounts owned by users in other countries; Canada was specifically mentioned in the phone conversation.  I am a writer with a home office using the account with business contacts.

Can you determine if my live account, messages and manuscript attachments have been intercepted or otherwise compromised?

Outlook 2011 for Mac, Lost User Data, Importing from Carbonite

I lost my emails, files, folders and contacts during a software upgrade the other day.  I am unable to restore them through the MS User Data folder but have backed up my computer through Carbonite.  I have downloaded the Office 2011 Identities/Main Identity/Data Records and Database to a Desktop folder from Carbonite but have been unable to import it into Outlook.  Any ideas???

Carbonite does not have instructions for Outlook for Mac on their website.
