New Group not showing in Hotmail

I'm trying to add a completely new group into my Hotmail. When I add the new group in People, it doesn't even show the new group name when I try to send an email. In People, I have the option of sending an email to the group, but that puts everyone in the TO: I want to BC: them. This use to be so simple!

Am using Outlook for Mac. Besides my standard mailboxes i use many sub-folders in my Inbox.

How do I configure these sub-folders with columns for "from"; "to"; "subject"; 'size" ; "date received" etc etc

I managed to do it for the "delete" mailbox.

i made 2 hotmail accounts but i seldom use the other one so i forgot the password. when i tried to reset my password, it says "your Microsoft account does not exist". what do i do?

i maintain 2 different hotmail accounts but i seldom use the other one so i forgot my password. when i tried to reset the password, i cant do it anymore because it says that my microsoft account does not exist. pls help me.

Outlook 2011 not sending any emails but receiving them fine.

I get this error when I send emails on Outlook 2011.

Outlook cannot connect to the server. Verify that your computer is connected to the network. Error Code -3260

I have no problem receiving any emails.

The out going default port is 25

I have ticked use SSL to connect

Outgoing Server - mail.(my website name).com.au

Anyone have any ideas?

I have deleted and re-installed this email account twice and still no joy.

Suddently can’t send emails through Outlook 2011 for Mac

There are 4 of us in the office and we all use Outlook for Mac 2011. A few weeks ago, 2 of us noticed that suddenly the emails we sent through Outlook were not getting to the recipients (the other 2 are sending and receiving with no problem). We get no error message, and it looks as if our emails have been sent (they appear in our sent box). We found out they weren't actually being sent because several people told us they did not receive emails that we had sent them. Incoming emails work fine. Outgoing emails to the other 3 people in the office do work, but no one else.

Since then I've contacted our email service provider several times about this issue. They've had me change the outgoing server info in my Outlook account settings. I've tried changing those settings to read exactly like the settings of the 2 of us that are not having problems. Nothing has worked. It seems to be a Microsoft issue and I don't know what else to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Missing Key Features in MS Outlook for Mac

I was very excited to get MS Office specifically OUTLOOK for Mac, as i use MS office at my work place and i could use same functionality and ease of use at home, but i was very disappointed when i found out that following key features were missing from Ms OUTLOOK for Mac version and i wonder why Microsoft changed these key features which make MS office /outlook popular alternative to other similar softwares:-

1. In MS WINDOWS Outlook before sending email we could configure automatic spell check by selecting (ALWAYS CHECK SPELLING BEFORE SENDING) which is missing in MAC version.

2. After drafting email it is not possible to place in OUTBOX to send only when i SEND/RECEIVE as was possible in MS OFFICE for windows by unselecting (SEND immd when connected) so email was stored in Outbox whereas in MAC OUTLOOK email goes immd which means i cant review email again before sending.

3. I have several email a/cs and in MS Office for windows i could send email from any of the a/c without it showing my default a/c where as in MAC office when i send email from a different pop a/c it shows in from the name of a/c and as well sent by default a/c name, which is not good as the purpose of sending email from different a/c (personal) a/c is defeated as it shows my work email also as sender.

4. The signatures of different email a/cs don't appear by default when composing new email for a particular email a/c, which was possible in MS office and was a great feature.

5. font and size of all incoming email cant be fixed so it is easy to view.

6. Not possible re call send email.

I would request Microsoft add above features in MS office or as additional plug in as these are features which MS office so great.

Also in XLS the key board shortcuts for formating like wrap text and merge cells are missing.

How to PERMANENTLY change the Outlook format back to the Hotmail format?

I know when a person logs into their Hotmail account that it automatically takes you to the new Outlook format. I also know that if a user wants to, they can go to the upper right cog (by the users name) under options and have the option to switch back to Hotmail format. What I want to know is that even when a user does use those options to go back to the Hotmail format, every time they log out & log in at another time, it goes right back to the Outlook format. How can a user PERMANENETLY choose to have the Hotmail format instead of the new Outlook format?
