No matter how many times I request a verification code to verify my account I am not sent one. Firstly this happened when setting up my surface 2, after numerous attempts at getting a code it still didn't work. Now after letting my surface's battery run flat it is requesting a bit locker key. To get this bit locker key I need to sign in and verify my account, and as it was before, after numerous attempts, no verification code has been sent. I have called tech support and they suggested I reset my surface however if I do I will still be faced with this verification problem. Please help me.

As of yesterday I have been locked out of my account, for which no explanation has been offered.
I recently moved from Sydney Australia to Scotland, but have been using my account for 2 weeks with no problems.
Because I no longer use the Australian mobile (0450260976) listed as my contact number, I cannot receive a verification code there...I am also unable to access my former work email address (d*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) to receive a code there. If I'm able to PROVIDE the number used for text verification - 0450260976 then WHY can't a code be sent to my new number? It's ridiculous.
I have submitted several questionnaires and have included passwords, contacts and email subjects as requested, but STILL have been unable to access my account, which has now been blocked.
The suggestion is made that I fill in the questionnaire from a computer I use regularly...that computer is still in Australia, so I cannot
I feel VERY frustrated - not to mention cheated - here...these are MY vital contacts and information, and I have been refused access to them for no good reason that I can see. Some of the emails and contacts I need ASAP as they contain information pertaining to bank accounts and transactions which will incur a financial penalty if I do not make payments at once.

Verifying custom domain Outlook account via SMS fails. No verification code is received after a day.

I registered custom domain with http://domains.live.com and made all necessary DNS/MX/TXT changes at my registrant. After verification process vas complete it activated my custom domain account and allowed me to crete Emails. So I created for now 2 Email accounts and was able to sign in into these accounts. More I am able to receive Email just fine. But when I try to send an Email it shows following message:
Please verify your account. We've noticed some unusual activity in your Outlook account. To help protect you, we've temporarily blocked your account.
So I clicked the button Verify which takes me to https://sms.live.com website. There I've entered my US phone number and clicked Next to get the Verification code. It has been a day and I still got nothing. Tried to remove and then add number again without success. And when I click resend verification code I get following error as well: Sorry, we can't do this right now. Please try again later.
So at this point I am stuck and not sure what to do?
