I'm new to the Mac version of Outlook and can't find a feature I really need. I often send standard email (either as part of an initial contact with someone or in response to a standard question). In Outlook 2010 for Windows I can save stuff as "parts"
and insert them into a blank email either to create a template which I then fill in or to simply insert standard text which I can then send.
Is there similar functionality in Outlook 2011 for Mac? How would one send these type of standard email?
If you put in the contacts email address in the Search contacts bar provided there window appears and gives you the option to add a contact as a friend, all you get when you click on that option isa web page openingandsaying thecontact has already been invited.
If you click on add a contact from the option provided all you get is you have previously added a contact who uses this instant messaging address.
I can see my contacts online if I click on the People link but I cannot see them in messenger on my laptop.
Since last week we have issues with the sync between Outlook 2011 and Exchange 2010. When starting the application it works just fine and downloads the mails but after the download the users has to re-enter their logon credentials. Outlook will not accept
the entered username and password and the user will not be able to send or receive mails.
But, if they change the password in the account settings instead it will work for a short while but after the mail box has been synced the logon dialog box appears again and the password is not accepted.
Most of the users are running on Mountain Lion and the 14.2.3 version of Outlook. Our Exchange server is Exchange 2010. The problem occured last monday, september 10th. No changes has been made in the Exchange server for the past two weeks.
Another thing, a user tried to reinstall Office and first uninstalled it. Now, when he tries to install Office for Mac 2011 on his Mountain Lion he receives the following message:
Microsoft Outlookcan not be openedbecause ofa problem.Contactthe developerso that youare sure thatMicrosoftOutlookworks withthis version ofOS X.You may need to reinstall the software.Be sure toinstall any available updatesfor the applicationand OS X.
Since Thursday, September 6, 2012, I have been unable to open any emails,or write any emails. The format looks completely different. I have Internet explorer version 8. I use MSN as my home page when I sign in for hotmail. THere have been no changes
to my computer or other software to cause this malfunction. When will this be addressed and fixed?
In spanish, please! No puedo abrir mi sessión en messenger ya que aparece un aviso en el que me pregunta si quiero instalar la nueva versión o modelo; si digo que no no me lo acepta y si digo que sí no me instala el messenger; por favor, contéstenme por

Like many others I am having an issues with search within Outlook.
When I use Spotlight to search for a name or something similar it lists Outlook items and I can find them that way. However, the search feature within Outlook does not work.
I have tried re-indexing, both in command line and by dragging the folders/drives to the 'do not search' folder in system preferences.
Neither of which seems to have resolved the problem.
I have also tried to rebuild the identity and even created a new identity.
