I have recently downloaded the latest version of Windows Movie Maker. I downloaded a recent video I have taken, and edited the clips - cutting out parts I didn't need. & also added some titles & captions. When playing back the finished 'project' (before saving it as a finished movie) there is a gap of probably only 1 second between each of the clips, both in video & sound. I thought maybe this would disappear when saved as a movie so I saved it . I then burned it to DVD. When playing back the DVD, - there is still a very tiny gap between each clip, both in video and in sound. Its only about a second but is very off putting. Also - the DVD will play on another computer but not on our home DVD player. As you can guess I am not an expert in computers etc otherwise I may not have had these problems
Hopefully someone will be able to get back to me with an explanation & advice I what I am doing wrong!
Hi,
I'm running windows 8.1 with the updated Movie Maker and I can get sound but no picture. The file is from my JVS Everio Camcorder with 60 GB hard drive and the instant I plug it in to my computer, Movie Maker starts up and runs the movie in sound only with black screen.
I've opened Movie Maker by itself separately and imported the movie from the camcorder with exactly the same result using the Wizard. What's wrong, anyone know? I tried downloading a free video editing tool called VSDC Free Video Editor, just to see if it was the program but in that one I can get the picture but no sound. I'm going around in circles with this and the camcorder is going through the window any moment now. Help please.
