I can edit videos in WLMM but there is no video in the preview or in the finished product. I have updated the software. My computer is up to date. I have checked to make sure that I am using video files in the correct format in the correct locations. I
have read all of the other blogs out there about this problem and followed instructions found there but nothing helps. Here is the info on my computer:

Hello. I'm using Windows movie maker and i can't seem to figure out how to add text over a video. I heard something about clicking Tools and then picking "title over video" option but i cannot seem to even find the tools subheading. I have windows 7. Please
help.
It took me forever to make this video and it's really good. I need it done as soon as possible. So I downloaded all my files, edited it, added music and what not, and then I try to save it but it says, ---Windows Movie Maker can not save this file to your
specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available, and then try again.--- Everything it says I have done. The original
files are on my computer. I have tons of free disk space. I have tried it so many times! Fixed anything that might work, but nothing happens! It's so frustrating, and I NEED this video. Any suggestions??
we just finished our Movie Maker project of some pictures and some videos...Everything seems to play ok while playing on the computer, but when I burned the video to DVD,the first Video that appears in the project comes out choppy, the rest have some minor
stutters but arent nearly as bad as the first video.
All of the videos are in .mov format and were shot with the same device (apple Iphone4)
Thanks for any Help

Greetings,
I have a long video of my concert. I split the video at various places to coincide with the beginnings and endings of different songs. I would like now to extract those different clips and create individual projects for each one. How does one do that with Movie Maker?
It seems like it should be easy:

It seems like it should be easy:
- click on the clip to extract
- click "Copy"
- click "New Project"
- click "Paste"
That does nothing, however. After I click "Paste" in the new project, the paste icon becomes greyed out and nothing else happens.
What SHOULD I be doing to extract those individual video clips? Do I really have to go through, trim each one, save as a new project, undo, and repeat? That seems really overly complicated.
Help please.
Thank you,
Tilphor
I can make a movie with movie maker, everything works great. I save the movie but do not upload as I want to get some audio to add to it. When I reopen it although it shows all the video, photos and text on the working screen, it will only play the photo's
and text. I cannot play the video content. Very frustrating as I spend a lot of time making the movie and can see it on the screen as still shots, but the screens are just black when I play them.
For some reason my audio and video are out of sync. This before I start doing any editing. I have updated my webcam driver and everything. I record a video with my webcam but when I play it back the audio is behind the video. What can I do to get it to
sync up and stay synced up once I start editing?
