Hi,

I am editing an existing video to create a shorter version, but when I click 'save to my computer' to finish the video, although I can view the new video, the top half of the picture is missing.

Any ideas on why this is happening and how I stop it ??

I will appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks Mike

I've been uploading movies from Windows Movie Maker to YouTube for the past 2 days. But this one video refuses to upload. Now, the other videos, when I clicked the button to upload them, began a roughly 50 minute saving process, and then began a roughly 5 minute publishing process. I tried to upload this video several times, each time at a progressively lower resolution. It kept finishing the save process but never published; it just closed the bar that told me it was saving. Finally I clicked on "save movie", and it began the 50-minute save process again. I then closed Movie Maker and then opened up the second copy of the movie, which was suspiciously blank. Movie Maker said it was upgrading the quality of the movie, so I waited. When it was finished, the slides were just gray with a picture of a film reel in the bottom left hand corner, but the movie was still on the left side when I played it. I then closed out and opened the original copy, which looked fine. So, I gave the save another shot. Almost an hour later, it said that the movie had not been published successfully because of a bad network connection. I was connected to the internet the whole time. I had had this problem occur before, and I simply re-published the video and it worked. So I tried to publish again, but with the same result. I've tried everything I can think of, so I need some help.

To begin, this just started happening a few days ago.

When I launch Movie Maker it asks to, "Click here to browse for videos and photos" or I have been able to drag and drop my video there. It used to load just fine and I'd be able to edit, save and send to where I need to. However, lately whenever I try to add a video it won't load and provides me with the following error code: 0xC946002C. I've tried to resolve the issues by installing codec packs and search the internet to no avail. Not sure what else to try. Also, the format the files are in is MP4 which hasn't been an issue before. I'm using it on a windows 8 box and using SnagIt to capture the initial video. Movie Maker has been uninstalled and reinstalled as well. I'm having to use 2 different machines for the videos, which is an annoyance. Any ideas or assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Adam

Hi

I am a small gaming channel on YouTube and I use movie maker all the time.   Just recently I went to upload my video and it said it can not upload a video over 15 min. and it would not upload my video.  I know there is other ways to do it but they are too hard,  Can You Please Help Me,

I am trying to send an email with a short video attached. I get a pop up window with the following message. "Message cannot be sent. There is not enough memory." How can I solve this. I can receive videos.
The source files play fine in Windows Media player, but when they are loaded into Movie Maker, the audio gets ahead of the video. What gives? Very frustrating...
I am trying to upload a video to YouTube and it says there's over a thousand minutes left! I know I am supposed to Publish my video to my computer first but I can't find that option?
Under File> I click publish movie> but the only options are skydrive, facebook, youtube, windows live group and flikr as well as add a plug in & manage your services.
I'm also trying to upload it by publishing it through youtube but it's stuck at 1%!
any help!?
