I recently downloaded the newest edition of WMM... like 2 months ago...

I started into a video, saved it, then closed out. Tonight I went back into the video and it is capturing all 37 pictures as one file. It wont display the title's or captions and does not distinguish the pictures or music from any of it. Basically I have one file to click on. For instance, I clicked on the portion where you edit the video and it is all one file. It can all be deleted simultaneously. How do I break it back apart into individual pictures and audio? Is this a problem with my view? I want to reformat the music as well as move pictures but it doesn't show any of it.

Thanks,

Lindsay

When i upload a video to movie maker and play it, the video audio has a digitally weird messed up audio. The original videos on my computer are fine. How do I fix?

I created a movie with pictures, video and music.  Everything is perfect when viewing it in movie maker.  When I "Save Movie" with "Burn DVD" as the settings, it goes through the whole process of encoding, finishing, burning, etc.  When I view the .wmv file in windows media player on the same computer or try to view the dvd, everything is just black.  The audio and music play fine -just no pictures or video!!!

Please help!  trying to get this done for a sports banquet tonight!!!

Thank you!!

Hi-

I am making a video with pictures and videos.  I have background music playing, but I want it to stop while the video portions are playing.  How do I fade the music out and then back in once the video is over?

Thank you!

Hi

when i open a project on windows movie maker 2.6, and then press play, it plays. But once the video is over, it won't play again. (actually it's if i haven't played anything else or moved anything else yet, it will play, otherwise not.) The play indicator that shows you where you are moves, but the screen just keeps the start of the video.

I will put a video so you know what I mean: I guese that's not possible, but if it is, i'll put in on.

Oh, and i added a chroma black and chroma white transition to windows movie maker, if that makes a difference.

It would be great if someone could help.

Thanks :)

Whenever I pause the video to edit it, the music restarts itself. I just wanna keep editing from where I am in the video.

Yet, I have to keep restarting to get back to the point I was at. Can anyone help?

It just started doing this on recent videos...

I have a question about windows movie maker. When I add a video that is 1920x1088 the resolution and quality of the video drops. How can I maintain that resolution when I finalize and render the video?

I created a 20 minute video with a webcam. When I played the video back in Windows 7 Movie Maker, it played back sounding like chipmunks. The speed was set at "1" before playing the video back and while I played the video back.  I tried to slow the video down by going to "Video Tools" and clicking on the upside down triangle next to the "Speed:" icon and changing the speed to .5. This slowed the speed down but the movements and the speed did not match. I also tried emailing the video to see if it would playback slower once I opened it. This didn't work either.

Also, before creating the 20 minute video, I created a test video that was about 2 minutes in length. When I played it back in Windows 7 Movie Maker, it played back in normal speed. I'm wondering if the length of the video has something to do with it. Do I need to slow the speed down by cutting the video in segments?

How do I fix the 20 minute video? I can't create a new video. I need to fix it.

Thanks for the help.

Trying to set some music to a slide-show video. Go through 'add music to video' using WMA audio file but it wont accept the audio, keeps giving me an error code 0xC946001E (either corrupt file or not suitable format). I have done this kind of vid before (quite some time ago) with no prob, but am novice in the vid making area. Any help welcome.
