I don't like the new Movie Maker. Are there no more scenes selection on the lower part of the screen? How do I add different visual effects to the same video?? Whenever I select a visual effect it just restarts the movie and overrides the other effect.

I have Windows Live Mail installed on a new Win7 system. I use WLM to access several different email accounts. When I switch from one inbox to another the email titles in the Message List do a fade/slide-in visual effect. How do I speed up (or eliminate)
that visual effect? It is quite annoying, especially since I just did a major hardware upgrade and the animation negates any improvement in speed.
