What are the password restrictions when signing in though SMTP?

I was trying to set up a password reset account for my website using your SMTP server and kept getting an authentication error.  After exhausting everything I could think of I changed my password to something much simpler and shorter and it started working. Here is the 25 character password I was trying to use:

I'm not sure if there is a special character it didn't like or if it was the length but I could log into the account at hotmail.com just fine with it.

 

Can you tell me what the password restrictions are for SMTP authentication?

I am having an issue with a job search website in my gmail account. I trust the site totally and it is being blocked as a not tuted website.

I'm getting PM notification from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and hotmail says that this message is suspicious by SmartScreen filters.

It is wrong. The miranda-im.org website is perfectly safe. Here i should report this ?

When i send an e-mail there is already this advertising-spam-message in the text-field:

"Hey, how are you doing recently? I would like to introduce you a very good company and its website is www.mydosell.com It can offer you all kinds of electronic products that you may be in need,such as laptops ,gps ,TV LCD,cell  phones,ps3,MP3/4,motorcycles and etc........ You can take some time to have a check ,there must be something interesting you 'd like to  purchase . The contact Email:  (removed) MSN:   (removed) Hope you can enjoy yourself in shopping from that company !  Regards"

 - How do I get rid of it?

I have been sent a text message from Windows Live and have changed my password and entered the code they sent to me.  The message said to sign in to your website to complete the process. I have the support ticket number that you sent to me. What do I do on your website to be on target?

I checked the add & remove tools site & todays updates are not there even though the updates were successfull

I checked the add & remove tools website for todays down loaded updates & they are not there even though the download was successfull.

The Update Icon is still on my computer saying downloades are ready, I can't get rid of it.

When I try to Compile new message, reply, or forward, I get this message "A problem has occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try later".

This appears to be fairly common, but I am yet to be able to resolve this: (Windows Live Mail, Windows 7). When I try to Compile a new message, reply, or forward, I get this message "A problem has occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try later". I have tried Windows Essentials Repair, uninstall/reinstall. I can view received email through WLM and also the website for Hotmail and POP3.I can also compile, reply, and forward via website. I have now spent days on this. I am very persistent, But I am now ready to fly the white flag and/or remove the remaining strands of hair left. I cannot understand why Microsoft can't address this.The solutions help procedures via Windows 7 are of no assistance. Can anyone offer assistance?

if  I goto the website there is no problem but if I try to use my program windows live mail I get the above but my calendar will come up so will contacts so I'm connected. it has worked then it don't help

I can sign into my account on the website, troubleshooting says everything is fine, and I did everything help told me to under "why can't I sign into messenger?" but I still can't sign into the messenger and I get error code 800488eb.  Why is this?
