I have an email account defined in my Windows Live account. I've been using Live mail for years. For some reason yesterday I was unable to sign into Live mail. I changed the password in the Windows Live account. Went back to my Live mail and attempted to sign in only to get a message saying either the email account or the password were incorrect. I've reset the password in my Windows live account several time without an success in accessing my Live mail account. I am able to sign into Outlook using my email account and password but not the Live mail account???? Any suggestions for this problem?

I have been trying to access my Windows Live account so I can transfer files to a new Windows Phone and have been unable to get anywhere with it. My username and password is accepted, then the prompt says:
"Your account is missing some key info
Before you can continue, you need to provide it. We respect your privacy and will use this information in accordance with our privacy policy."
I provide the info they ask for, click "I accept," and the same page comes up again without the info I typed in. This has happened using both Internet Explorer and Firefox on 2 separate computers running Windows 7 and on the new phone's web browser. After speaking with online support and calling tech support, they haven't been able to help except to say I need to post a question here to get anything done.
What do I need to do at this point in order to fully access my Windows Live account to transfer everything to my new phone so I can mail the old one as a trade-in?
I like using windows live mail, I had no problems with importing Hot mail account and yahoo mail account, but I had hours of problems trying to set up Shentel mail account to be received in windows live. I never set up a gmail mail account but shentel uses gmail. IS THERE A CONFLICT WITH WINDOWS LIVE MAIL AND ACCOUNTS USING GMAIL? I do not know what I did but I deleted the gmail account that was listed on windows live and now, I have lost all that I have done including the windows live account. Thanks

before the moderator directs me to another similar question, please don't--I've read everything I can see on here and nothing has worked. I've also tried contacting support, and keep getting pushed from support department to support department. I hope someone can help.
I have a Windows Live account - my old Hotmail account. I have an Office 365 account. The email address for my O365 account is setup as an alias for my Windows Live account, and so I logon to both systems using the same email address with different passwords.
All of a sudden (apropos of nothing) my Windows Live login has stopped working. I receive the following error message

I have tried reading widely, logging off everywhere, clearing caches, using InPrivate tabs, different computers ... *everything* ... but still get the same message everytime I try. I can logon to mail.office365.com and those other Office-related services using the Office 365 account details, but that doesn't help me. I have a calendar published to my Windows Live account from Outlook at work, and the inability to logon has stopped that calendar updating ... which is screwing my calendar across all of my devices (including Surface Pro 2 which is otherwise great).
Please help someone...
The email address that they wish to send me a verification code to is no longer in use, it's so old that I dont even know the address and God knows what the mobile phone number they have on file for me is, it's probably one tat I had from my time living in the Netherlands but surely Windows could send me a verification code to my WINDOWS phone that I've had for the past year? Although I cant provide email subject lines I would be more than happy and able to provide many of my contact numbers that are saved on my account. Surely that's even safer? After emailing my problem to Microsoft and requesting support I got an email to say that I would have an answer in 24 hours. After constant checking of my email I finally received an email 30 hours later saying that they had responded to my support request. Their response was to close my case without reply. Very frustrating when I've been waiting for an answer and was under the impression that my case would be looked at by a person who would be able to us common sense. Whats just as frustrating is now I don't even have any more chances to try and complete the questionnaire and just get an email telling me to open a new account. I do not care about the account just my phone numbers.
Can anybody please help me get my phone numbers??
