Thank you.
I accidently changed DOB of my profile to year 2000 and I have been locked out of my Windows Live account since because the system thinks I'm a child.
Anyone who has the similar issue is usually presented 3 options to fix the problem through this link.
Unfortunately, as I came across so many posts from different people, (including myself) we all tried these 3 options without getting result.
I would like to ask if you have had this issue and got it fixed somehow, could please share the information/solution here openly? It would greatly help me and many, many other people.
Thank you very much!
When I try to close my hotmail account I get the message:
There is a Microsoft email account (Windows Live Hotmail) associated with your account, so you can't close your Windows Live account immediately. To close your Windows Live account, you need to close your Microsoft email account first. After a period of inactivity, your Windows Live account will automatically be closed. Close your Microsoft account
I then click on the "close your microsoft account" link and get the message:
This option isn't available for your account.
I want my hotmail email account and my windows live account closed asap. How do I do that?
Thanks.
We want to use outlook with my company site.
Thank you for your urgent response to this matter.
1) Is it possible to delete a custom domain from one windows live account and add it to a new windows live account that has a different windows live ID?
2) If this is possible, would all the emails associated with the custom domain on outlook.com be deleted or lost at the time of the change of accounts?
The purpose of such a change for example would be if one company split into two separate companies so each company would want to have their own separate windows live ID'. However we would want to keep all emails intact if at all possible when the domain is moved from one account to the other.
Please advise.
Thank you.
I have a windows live account. When I try to log in (at the Outlook.com page) I receive this message:
You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).
However, I do not believe I am signed in at another Office 365 account and would not know how to close it. Any help would be great.
