My Windows photo galary and Windows live messenger (vista) has stopped working I have downloaded Windows Live Essentials but this has not fixed the problem. Can you advise on corrective action to take?
When I power up my laptop error message appears advising that these services are not working.

How do or can I uninstall windows live mail, live writer, live call from windows live essencentials and keep windows live messenger, live family safety and live photo gallary? I have went to uninstall programs & clicked on windows live essentials but
it will not let me uninstall all or part.
A secondary email account in Windows Live Essentials 2011 always requires a login. Why is this and how do I abort the procedure? I have "removed" the account and "added" the account several times. Should it have a password different or the same as the
default account? The default accont performs properly withou the need to login.
I did a update and windows live messenger crashed saying the side by side configuration was incorrect. I uninstalled all of my c++ librariesd and windows live essentials and then reinstalled everything back. When I check there is still not any live essentials
programs installed even though it said that everything was downloaded and installed. How do I get everything back.

Thought I had a solution to this in a recent forum question but it wasn't. I have Windows 7 and Windows Live Essentials and using Windows Live Mail. I want to change my password for signing in to my Windows Live Mail account not Windows Live ID as I
found where that can be changed. I received a suggestion I go to my windows live mail account and properties and then open 'Server' and it would allow me to change my email there but it doesn't as it won't allow me to type anything in the space provided for
email password. Only way I can get anything in that space is check 'remember password box' and my old email password is there (although not in actual word print) and if I retype a new password there it always reverts to my old password even thought I click
apply and then ok at the bottom of that pane.. Another suggestion was I check remember password. Then when I sign in to my Windows Live Mail I am prompted to sign my Windows Live ID which isn't necessary as my email window is open and new mail going in and
I can read it. So that means I am just signed in all the time using my old password again!
Are there any more suggestions out there how to change WLMail password and not the Windows Live ID?
after deleting Microsofts request to download Windows Live Essentials for weeks, I gave in today, and now I have no more e-mail, because it is unable to download. Amessage tells me to close all firewalls which I did , but still it is unable to download
the program. Now what???
When I open up Messenger it alerts me to email from my hotmail account. When I click on the alert, which used to take me right to my hotmail, now it does nothing, not even an error message comes up, it just does not respond. The only thing I did after
installing Windows LIve Essentials was I deleted Google Chrome. I only installed Windows Messenger, nothing else. Thanks for any help.
I would like to install Essentials without installing any of its email features (e.g. Windows Live Mail or Hotmail). I would have no use for them.
Thank you.
