the format is off. (it looks like the web page is down)

For some reason one of my clients cannot email me. Their email keeps getting rejected. Never had a problem before. Have received request from "Windows Live Hotmail" team asking me to send all account details including pasword, otherwise I will be cut off during maintenance caused by a virus ion hotmail. I assume this is a con? But do not have any way of checking!
