Installed on Windows 7 OS.  LOVE IT BTW!  I often add domains to my blocked domain list.  ALL of a sudden this process has become painfully slow.  I can say my list is quite long as I receive tons of spam.  Might my list be too populated?  This started suddenly.  If I recall, (somewhat feeble mind here) I was poking around and I believe I set some kind of "Windows 7 emulation mode" within Live Mail (or not :-))  Coincidentally, this is when this issue arose.  Any assistance is appreciated!

Hello,

Problem started May 30 on both laptops - one HP - Vista, the other Acer - Win7.

The problem is with downloading messages from my Hotmail account. Only one or two of them being loaded after many attempts and always with errors shown like:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account. To send and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer Support, go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the list of services.

Server Error: 0x80072EFF
Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EFF.

My wife's la[top with Win7 works O.K.

Any idea?

Thank you

Have been using Windows Live Mail 2012 for 2 months without trouble until today.  All previously saved inbox messages are now gone.  Still receiving new messages fine, and they are still there.  Can the old messages be recovered?  How did this happen?

I have Windows Live Mail 2012, when I go to send an email it won't send it, I get an error message that says it doesn't recognize my email address.  What do I do to fix this problem?

I have tried everything.  All of my contacts are there under people online at outlook.com.  If I start an email and start typing in the to: space it fills in the contact but there are no contact list to be able to view, change, or edit or add new.  Should I download a different mail program.  I have tried the export import nothing works.  I have saved the excel .CVC file and tried dragging it into the folder, that does not work either.  I have also gone on the people app and tried importing the contacts that way and it can't find my account, all though my password and email are correct.  I got a new window 8.1 computer. The windows live mail on my new computer is really different.  I know others are having this problem because I read it but the answers I have read don't work.
windows live mail recently started giving me "authenticationfailed invalid credentials 0x800ccc0f" ?
